I do agree though that it's much easier to bond with characters in the other games.
That's an easy one. The games all the way, the anime is virtually non existent to me. If I had to pick a favorite game, I'd go with DR2.
My favorite overall character would be Junko Enoshima. I just really enjoyed her entire story. She has the most appeal to me out of everyone that I even made her one of my Twitch emotes LOL
Following would be my favorite protagonist, Kyoko. I like her calm demeanor and ability as an ultimate detective.
After that it gets a little tricky, I would probably pick Maki/Chiaki as my 3rd and 4th. Don't have much of a reason for Maki, she just really grew on me near the end of the game. As for Chiaki, learning her story made me appreciate her even more which brought her up higher on my list.
