I thought NHK was fairly dark at times, although it was one of the first psychological series I watched back when I was still fairly new to anime. Honestly, I say it's one of the greater slice of life anime rather than one of the greater psychological anime.

Well, I would probably just read Naruto if I had time to kill. At least if I were to read it, I wouldn't have to worry about filler arcs.

Random question, have you ever seen the Big O? If not, I think you should check it out, considering you like stuff like Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, and Ghost in the Shell. I think the creator of Lain actually was heavily involved with the Big O, if that helps you become interested.

Also, I see you finished the Naruto manga, how was it? I read the first 25 chapters awhile ago and have put on hold since (not that I didn't like what I read, I just never got around to continuing it).

I don't think I've yet encountered an anime that creeped me out that much (maybe Perfect Blue, in a way), though I have a ways to go, too. xD Erm, that sounds so promising aside from the fact that I love everything else you've favourited!

I haven't memorized your list, but I saw Byousoku 5 CM, and I genuinely hope you watch all of Makoto Shinkai's films. They're absolutely breathless, especially Kotonoha no Niwa.
