Hello. I'm someone who started watching anime after completing The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya in December of 2013. I've been hooked ever since.
I accept all friend requests, and enjoy a great discussion or debate! I often rate by first impression (upon completion) and then go back and re-rate.
Oyasumi Punpun is my favorite work across all mediums, I highly doubt I'll find something I enjoy more.
My absolute favorite anime include: Clannad+AS, ef. A Tale of Melodies/Memories, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Death Note, Code Geass, Serial Experiments Lain, Hunter x Hunter, Ghost in The Shell, Akira, Monogatari Series, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I also love Final Fantasy VII and VIII
I also enjoy: Playing guitar, writing/listening to music, reading, thinking, spirituality, meditation, exploring, coffee, and tea.

I decided to rate it a 10 because I honestly think it's a masterpiece and have never experienced anything like it at all. The characters and atmosphere were just too realistic it hurt. I would've read it faster but I'm juggling between airing anime and classes at the same time so it's hard to find that balance ya know?
Damn those are great characters, I honestly enjoyed the parts with Seki as much as when it focused on Punpun. He was such a great character. Another thing I liked about Sachi was how much I related to her, the idea of being afraid to continue forward but she would rather not have regrets than not do anything at all. It was like that statement was speaking to me correctly.
Excellent I'm so glad you ended up loving HxH!! Togashi the author is basically a god of writing shonens. I see you watched YYH as well he did an incredible job with that one. Who was your favorite in HxH btw?
I just have to rewatch all of Eva again it's been way too long that I feel I've forgotten so much. I really want to watch it this December break like I mentioned in my last message but I just realized how much I want to get done by then it might be difficult to rewatch it then. We'll see I guess for now I do have 3 weeks off.
Owarimonogatari is very captivating I'm impressed with it as usually I think it can reach Monogatari S2 depending what they do with it in the last half of the show.
Actually I'm going to be starting 20th Century Boys very soon once I finish Orange! I'll be able to talk to you about it as we read it depending if I'll read fast enough to catch up haha
My favorite character forsure was Sachi, oh and Punpun both were great. I could really relate to Sachi and in general I just thought she was really well written and went through things I could relate to.
Sorry about replying so late to your other message!
Yeah my roommate told me Liar Game was alright, it just seemed like a very inferior very of Kaiji from the look of it.
I see you really loved Hunter x Hunter! That's awesome I'm happy you had a great time with it
>I see you have End of Evangelion in your favorites as well. I recently re-watched it and it really struck me, so it's great to see you love it as well!!
Oh boy my experience with EoE was an interesting one, I remember when i finished it I went and just rested on the coach because my brain had exploded hahaha. I had a deep discussion with one of my buddies to break down and analyze things about it that I probably missed.
I'm honestly planning on watching it again probably this December because it's been so long and I really want to rexperience it so I can appreciate it more because it's one of my favorite titles of all time.
Damn now I see how late I replied.. I am so sorry... Well to answer your previous question I was super stoked for Non Non Biyori Repeat and little did I know it became one of my all time favorite titles. And for fall I'm in love with OPM and Haikyuu S2. I'm hoping to watch Owarimonogatari very soon as well. How about you what are you enjoying lately?
I'm glad you took my suggestion! While F/Z may be better all around it was still intended for FSN UBW to be watched after F/Z even ufotable said that themselves during one of the first conferences when it got announced.
How is Liar Game btw? I was thinking about giving it a try
Oh I definitely have certain series I want to re-read/watch, like Bakuman for example it's been like 5 years since I last read it haha
What have you been up to lately? Thoughts on Monogatari now that you re-watched it?
Oh yeah the story is soooo brutal but it's just so well written. And the manga art is next level, I would say one of the best in the art department especially.
Haha watch it in the order it was released ofc!! F/Z being better is questionable, it's darker, but the pacing is not as strong as UBW. Especially since F/Z spent an entire first episode info dumping lol.
But it's up to you man, that's like watching Nekomonogatari: Kuro first because people say Bakemonogatari is better. But wouldn't you say it was a better idea to watch it the order it was released because that's the order the studio wanted it's viewers to watch it in? Not to mention FSN UBW 2014 season 2 is still airing so people are saying F/Z is better based off an incomplete sequel ya know? (I read the VN for FSN) and I will tell you now that Unlimited Blade Works has a much more satisfying ending than F/Z. F/Z is a prequel to add build up for FSN so it just doesn't make sense when I see you watching the sequel first lol
The first season was really fun!! The second season had it's moments but the 8 episodes repeat arc made me a bit bored cause I watched them all. I tried to watch all 8 in a row but I just couldnt.. But dude.... The disappearance movie was absolutely amazing!! Easily one of the best animated movies I've seen it was fantastic.
Speaking of Berserk I've actually been reading the manga recently!! How were the movies?
Oh no problem about the heads up! Yeah no doubt they were referring to the F/SN visual novel because they made F/Z intended for those who played it. But if you were to dive into just the anime then I would recommend F/Z and then the FSN 2014 adaptation. Both were made by ufotable and they intended the 2014 anime to be for the people who watched F/Z.
OMG yes! I watched the first 3 movies and I was hooked every since, then I dicided to watch the original anime, I know I should have started watching it first, but I thought the movies were the same as the series, but its not, the series is a lot more detailed. I really can't wait to see what happens in the end :)
