I write short reviews because long reviews piss me off, here's why, you're reading a description of an anime and want to know if you'll like it, you scroll to the review section and someone has seventeen paragraphs talking about anime camera angles philosophy, sir, I just wanted to know if it's hentai or not.
So, I'll be the change I seek
I think you really nailed it with this one. Around 3/4 of the time is just spent on the same interaction (tsun behaviour by Liese, gets called out by our commentator MCs and then Sieg thinking "cute"). And for the last 3 episodes we get a confused backstory of these gods which I found supremely unfitting. And the characters are absolutely suffering because of this, basically zero development.
I concur putting more emphasis on actual romantic development between Sieg and Liese would have done wonders. Plus you could have still included some other ideas with the commentator MC gimmick (e.g. how about instead of Kuon being a god, he is just another player that is able to interact with the game characters, but has his own agenda).
