Oh yeah, Accelerator's more calm and collected in Index and his spin-off (most of the time). When he's not unhinged, he's got this no-bullshit attitude I really like.
I'll just link these two pages, 'cause I ain't touching the confusing nature of these horrendous titles lol
Seriously, they really should've made these titles easier to digest. Even the old Aliens/Predator vs DC superhero comics had more comprehensive titles than these.
Have you seen any Godzilla movies before?
Thanks! I just joined Reddit recently, so I might give that a try. I found a good article about the site and its games here.
And this Twitter thread I found related to one of the lost titles. (I CLEARLY remember playing this!)
Here's a clip from Index II in English. (Komoe's English VA also voices Chika.)
Yeah. RIP.
I don't think you have. Is it this one? There's also 2 Dc/RWBY crossover comics, which are what the films are loosely based on. As I said, they're okay. The second film has a surprise that'll definitely catch you off-guard. (If you've avoided spoilers.) I would've rather had a crossover with the MonsterVerse than Justice League. It may not have saved RT, but it certainly would've been a lot more interesting and fun to witness. How's Ice Queendom so far?
Speaking of the MonsterVerse, it's a shared cinematic universe involving Godzilla and King Kong. It started with the 2014 Godzilla film, followed by 2017's Kong: Skull Island.
Oh my, glad it's over with. Reminded me that I had mine pulled 5 years ago, and good god was it painful. Eating like a rabbit and abstaining from lifting things felt so embarrassing. I know it was painful, but I hope you had a better time than I did.
It is indeed a shame that Flash games aren't around anymore. I mean there's still some out there, but I believe it requires a bunch of technical steps that I don't understand. Did I ever mention Postopia? If you didn't know, Postopia was a site that had Flash games themed after the Post Cereal Company's various cereal products. Like Honey Combs and Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles. They were pretty fun, and I think I played more Postopia games than fan made Mario/Sonic ones. There was this one game that I don't remember the name of, but it basically had you play a submarine pilot who finds various mysteries around the world, and the first mission was the Loch Ness Monster, which had a turtle face for some reason. Sadly, I can't find the game, nor can I remember the name, but it was so fun finding the Loch Ness Monster.
What did you think of Ishigami's backstory? Never thought this kid who looks like a weird, awkward loser had more to him, huh? Fun fact is that he and Accelerator share the same English VA.
There was sooo much crap that happened within RT over the past decade. Corporate mismanagement, unnecessary changes, the classic underpaid, overworked/burned out animators, or just people straight up leaving the place. Then Warner Bros. acquired it, and it was basically life support for the company, as bad as that sounds. Like, I saw everything that were the catalysts to RT's shutdown over the years since becoming a RWBY fan in 2019. Then reports came out saying that RT had its usual troubles, implying that it was on the verge of shutting down, but they were only the stepping stones that lead up to last month's big news. I don't know if it's luck that RT lasted this long, or WB buying it only delayed the inevitable. Either way, it didn't work in the long run. I've seen people blame WBD head David Zaslav for this, given that he has a track record for ruining a lot of things since Discovery's purchase of WB, but that isn't the case. RT's issues were what lead up to its shutdown, and its membership count went from over 200k down to 60k. Pretty bad drop in audience and revenue.
Although I said I wasn't going to previously, I caved in and watched the Justice League crossover movies (mainly because I got back into DC Comics). They're okay, but not for everyone. Only those who love RWBY, DC, and wacky crossovers (no matter how badly written) can get a kick out of them lol. And I decided to rewatch Vol 1 recently. Such good times that are past us.
Well, long time no see! Hope you had wonderful holidays and your 2024 is going well so far!
This might be a strange question to ask, but have you ever played any Flash games? I remember the days when Flash games were the bomb. Mostly played poorly made Mario or Sonic games. To be fair, not all of them were terrible. But they certainly were far from high quality. Then again, you never really notice these kinds of things when you're a kid. If it's a game, you want to play it. I do like how some Flash games were basically emulations of older games. I even remember this one Mario game that not only was the original Mario Bros. on NES, it allowed you to select other NES characters, such as Link, Trevor Belmont, and even one of the Contra shooters, to play the game.
Since it's been months, what are your thoughts on Kaguya-sama S2?
Well, I've been busy with school (still am), and I'm currently watching some movies I haven't been able to watch all these years. Other than that, I've been okay. This month's been a little wild in regards to entertainment. Speaking of which...
Did you hear of the recent Rooster Teeth news? It's shutting down. And they're currently working on ways to keep certain IPs alive. As I've expressed before, I've never liked the company. However, it didn't mean I was rooting for its downfall. I knew it would collapse, but not so soon. And regardless of how I may feel about certain staff members, it does suck that the others only knew they'd be losing their jobs not through a meeting (few were lucky enough to receive an email), but through the news. That's gotta hurt...
Hello friend, my deepest apologies for my absence. I know you know I'm in school, but really, I'm very sorry for taking so long to get back to you. School's gotten very hectic since my last reply, and I'm afraid it'll get more so for the rest of the year. So I'm dropping by to inform you that I'll get to your reply eventually, and in advance, have yourself a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Wow, that's a pretty good collection you have! Be sure to take good care of them. I used to have an NES system, buuut, it stopped working in the middle of a hard boss I was close to beating. There's honestly very few fun NES games out there. Though it's probably just me not being patient enough to play them. Do you play any fighting games as well?
You don't read any fantasy literature?
I see you're finishing up Kaguya-sama's second season. While I'm not into the series as much anymore, I'll just say just wait until you get to the 11th episode. It's really good, and you'll be surprised who it centers around!
Sorry for the late reply. Been pretty busy with school. Just in case I don't reply in time, Happy Halloween!
Oh wait, there was one more thing I forgot to mention in Volume 8. (I swear this is the last lol)
The death of Arthur Watts. Oh my god, how could they kill off one of the best villains since Torchwick? It was one thing to kill off Torchwick, but Watts? There was really no reason to kill him off except to use him as a pedestal for Cinder to be taken seriously again. Such a shame he got killed off. He didn't even go down swinging, he dies like a bitch! In fact, Volume 8 is where important characters all die like cowards, or for no reason. Ironwood dies after a terrible character arc. Hazel dies after turning good out of nowhere (he should've stayed evil). Jacques, while not a very impactful character (let's be honest, he's a just a big jerk), he could've been useful later on. Yet, he just gets blown up like a fodder enemy in Doom. And then there's poor poor Penny, whom we've already talked about.
I mostly stick with older games. Consoles like the GameCube or OG Xbox. The games I played in particular are Smash Bros Melee, the 2005 King Kong game, and Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, which is basically a Final Fantasy clone, but with a Middle-earth makeover. I do play games for XB1, but they're few in number. Since you mentioned playing Tomb Raider II on PS1, do you own any other old consoles?
Oooooh boy. Look what the same channel uploaded before your reply. IDK how I missed this.
I don't think we need to get into a deep-dive discussion. It's way worse than I thought. I think the future of this series is looking pretty Grimm (haha). While it's possible it could continue, I'm not holding my breath. Even if it does, there'll be more and more cut content, more excuses from the staff, and more plot inconsistencies. The ending of the series, if it even gets there, will very likely be a botched one that won't be satisfying to see. I know what I just wrote may seem like I have no hope for this series, but what else can I even say at this point? The direction this series took before and after Volume 7's release hasn't really been a hopeful one at all. Sure, you can find positives here and there, but they're overshadowed by the staff's incompetency.
Well, I think that's enough of that. Let's get onto a more positive topic, shall we?

But yeah, RWBY really needs a reboot. If you wanted some details, here's some highlights from a stream:

The store's out of product, and the main site shuts down next month.
