I'm not too picky on what genre to watch, but animes like Code Geass, Steins;Gate, Fate/Zero got me sucked into it quickly. Some romantic/comedies such as Baka to Test Shoukanjuu and Korewa Zombie Desuka also got my approval :D
Generally I look out for clean animation, clear/good use of animation, specific detail to the artwork and what not. I do not read manga unfortunately as I find it too burdening on my imagination to supply the animation in my head whereas in an anime everything (animation, artwork and storyline), are presented to me on a nice silver platter.
Oh, and I only list animes that I've completed. I give them all a 10 because I do not regret watching them. (which is kinda stupid to me but I digress)
