Majazztic! (you changed your name D:) :D i decided to log on, just got attack on titans and im ready to watch it :3 Oh btw nice bio on your gurlfrand ;) #fakersenpai
I may give LoL a try some day. for now I'll probably be playing terraria and watching anime as usual hah. I have too many animes I've been planning to watch. gotta get through them.
that's strange, I heard the opposite about LoL being 'casual-friendly'. I heard new players get harassed and even reported/banned for being new. that is probably what scares me the most about giving the game a try.
yeah, I picked up WoW right when Burning Crusade came out. I remember everyone complaining about their epic tier 5 armor (or whatever) getting obsoleted by quest reward greens and such haha. I mainly played PVP as well, Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin. never tried arena.. I had 2 level 49 twinks. a fury warrior and a discipline priest. they were my main characters. I stopped playing when WotLK came out, I really disliked the death knights.
I tried playing again when that panda expansion came out and so much has changed. It's depressing.
if you decide to give Dark Souls a try, send me a message. I played it on the xbox 360 and I no longer have internet on that so I can't help out with co-op, but I can give you some tips that won't spoil anything for you.
my brother used to play LoL, now he plays Dota2. he has a strong dislike for LoL for some reason and will say so whenever the game is brought up. I've never played either of the games but if I ever did, I'd probably try Dota first mainly because of my brother's recommendation.. but I might still give LoL a try.
what MMOs do you play? I used to play WoW before the death knights came out. damn things..
I also played a bit of Guild Wars 2.
the souls games are definitely not for everyone. if you're looking for a game that will challenge you with a great story, then you may enjoy it. the story/world is very cryptic though, so you'll have to gather information and put it all together yourself. the game requires a lot of thinking, you'll need to pay full attention to understand everything that's going on. heh.
I don't really like to recommend it to people. I've recommended it to 3 friends, and 2 of them strongly disliked it. if you want a challenge, maybe give it a try.
if I had to describe it I'd say it's similar to minecraft.
minecraft is 75% building and 25% survival, adventure.
terraria is 75% survival, adventure and 25% building.
that's a pretty simple explanation haha. also, terraria has amazing music.
I find these types of games pretty fun. minecraft got boring for me pretty quick, but terraria manages to stay fun.
I also play a bit of Dark Souls and Demon's Souls, although recently I've been a bit bored of the 2 games. I put so many hours into the souls games.. there's just nothing new to do anymore. I'm waiting on Dark Souls 2.
the only reason I care about specifying genres is so I can find more music to listen to. because so many people like to argue about what is and what is not dubstep, I cannot just simply ask.
there's a comment that pops up a lot on songs, something like "who cares what genre this is? it's good music." and people like/thumb that comment up to the top of the page.
I don't really like this mentality. because so many people think this way, it makes finding similar music a tiny bit harder. I'm not one to argue about genres and stuff.. but the people who do ruin it for everyone else who is looking for similar music.
my friend linked me to this site (http://www.muessentials.com/) and while I know /mu/ has a bad reputation for being nothing but hipsters, they do know their music. I've found some good music thanks to that website.
I think I may play a bit of terraria for now. haven't played in a long time. apparently, the new update came out today. ever heard of that game?
yeah, all jokes aside, I'm going to miss PePe. he was nice to have around. we've got a ton of spiders in our garden, so maybe he was bullied into moving? he did have some prime real-estate.
the whole dubstep hate thing these days bothers me. I want to tell people I listen to dubstep, but I don't want any misunderstandings. that's why I like the term 'post-dubstep'. it's basically a blanket term for any music inspired/influenced by dubstep while not exactly being dubstep. heh. honestly, half the time I don't even know what sub-genre the music I'm listening to falls under.. that's not a big deal, I guess.
I wonder why people in the EDM scene feel the need to invent all these new sub-genres? who knows.
thanks for the request. new friends are always nice to have.
yeah. I listened to a ton of Eric Clapton and similar bands/artists in high school.
(mashmakhan is a canadian band from the 60's/70's)
I used to listen to a lot of 'chillstep' and liquid DnB, but nowadays I'm more into post-dubstep and future garage. seriously, there are too many sub-genres in EDM, it gets annoying at times.
PePe is a strong spider, I'm sure he will be around for a good while.
It's thanks to him that I can open my window at night without having to worry about mosquitoes, so I help him out from time to time. He is my good friend.
You have good taste in music!

here's an example of what I'm into these days: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4Zae6mBN6M)
also, some sad news. PePe seems to have moved away. packed up all his things and he's gone.
he didn't even let me know he was moving.
