(((LOL))) my collection STILL continues to grow larger & i STILL have yet to make another scratch in seein the titles i own. (((LOL))) after digitally collectin' all (that i could find) of my original VHS collection, newer titles & TV series, i STILL don't have enough anime (((LOL)))
i've been a looooong time fan & enthusiast of anime all my life. this web location has allowed me to keep track of what i'm watchin' in between my busy schedule. it's crazy but when i first started this list a li'l over 3 yrs ago, i never thought i'd still not be close to the completion of enterin' nor watchin' my collection - jus plain laziness..... (((LOL)))
now after 3 yrs have passed, Bleach has finished airin', Hellsing Ultimate has 1 more OVA to release (i have 9 of the 10 OVAs) & Naruto Shippudden is STILL airin'; i STILL get the latest of these episodes as they become available (when i have the chance). when time allows, i am willin' to discuss w/anybody about what i HAVE seen if they are interested in my thoughts or what i got out of a particular show/movie/OVA.
thanks for droppin' by!!
Anime Review added 12.1.10
We are watchers of what I consider the most compelling art form of storytelling. It has been around (for me) since I was a child. It has fascinated me with stories of the imagination. It has intrigued me with detailed & in-depth story concepts that compare to real life. It has brought laughter that can sometimes become incurable.
For anime fans, you are not going to like every movie, show, or OVA. Some anime is on an intellectual level, while others are strictly for kids. It is in the story that lies the real truth about what is actually going on. Example... The Gundam Wing series had the innovation & action of its time, but it also had intense characters & some challenging sub stories within the main story. Speed Racer aired in the 70s & was very entertaining but at the core there was a story of internal family issues.
Reading through some reviews have been disappointing as to there has been no true understanding of what was being watched. Some viewers are not aware that some of what they see might even precede the time frame in which they've seen it; meaning that it was originally released before they even got into anime. How could you watch Akira today & get its intriguing story of a Japanese pop culture of the late 80s; call it dumb or stupid because you have no clue of what life was in the 80s?
My point here is to try not to classify based on what you don't know; get to know the writers & directors of anime. Learn to understand the messages even in the comedy anime. If you watch something that dates back to a time before you, explore what was going on during the time (i.e. actual happenings, animation developments). It is then you will actually unlock the true storytelling of anime.

Im not much of a manga reader so thats why I stick with the anime One Piece version and I really like the voice actors. Every main character has a distinct voice and I like that. If they ever stop the anime before the manga I will probally finsih the story with the manga.
On my ratings I do rate alot higher than I should but If I enjoy an anime and keep wanting to watch episode after episode that usally gets a ten from me. I try not to knit pick on the little flaws and on bad or good endings.
Hey I was also wondering if I could get a larger version of your profile pic. It looks like it has some anime charcters I havn't seen before and some I have.
