Nothing can be done about the fast subs besides rewatching the episode which for such a good looking series, I don't understand why not.
Also tip: Don't expect going in to it and thinking it'll play out like Japanese anime. You'll hate the series doing so that way and just become frustrated. The plot does not baby the audience because it was never intended for western audience, it's a Chinese drama at heart. Also, if you find the bromance too much, then it's probably not a series meant for you (I'm saying this as a hetero male).
Are the magical themes pervasive in the '03 version? I know the religion isn't(i've read up on it and I appreciate the direction), but how is the magical themes?
Did you know about the Anime adaption of the film? It was written by the guy who did Akira.
And yes! Monogatari is in my top five all-time favorites.
I didn't mean to sound dickish, if I did!
Sometimes my pet peeves get the better of me. Blame tumblr.
Yes, that would be a way better way to phrase it.
Scripts, storyboards, directors, hell the one with the original idea. Those are the creators of a story. While yes, the studio does deserve some of the credit on a successful series, you can just claim they are the creators. Because they really, really, really aren't.
The people that made Gurren Lagann created Kill La Kill.
"Kill La Kill from the creators of Gurren Lagann." Is a correct way to use the term "creators".
By the logic that anything that comes out of a single studio is all credited under one umbrella then...
"Kuroko no Basuke from the creators of Hajime no Ippo..."
Wut? How? That is ridiculous. Just because they fall under the same studio doesn't amount to what you are saying it does.
So no, it doesn't count.
