Yeah. I like games like those too. I haven't played any of the Tales games, but I will look into them. Looks like it is a DS game.
Yeah, Amazon seems like your best bet for manga now. I'll look into reading Shakugan no Shana once I get motivated to start/finish Fruits Basket and Kare Kano :) Thanks for the suggestion!
Some of my other favorite games are the Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts, Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton. I've played a few of the older Mario games, but I've been bad with keeping up with the recent games. Have you tried playing Catherine? Looks like an interesting platformer game.
Good luck with your studies! That sounds great! I graduated with an education degree but realized I can't really do anything with it right now, so I've thought about going back to school to study to be a counselor.
Oh I completely understand. I was a broke college student once. :)
You know, it's funny you say that because I actually have a friend that got all of his manga from Borders too and was bummed out when they went out of business. He said he hated going to Barnes and Noble for manga because they would place the security sticker right on the page, so when you took it off, the pages would stick together. It might be different ordering from them online, but Borders just had a better selection and didn't put the security sticker on the pages. So sad that Borders is gone :(
Yeah, I'm pretty busy with games too. Skyrim is one, and when I'm not doing that, I'm playing something on my Kinect.
Organic Chemistry, huh? What are you studying to become?
Hey, I also noticed you like Azumanga Daioh. While I haven't seen the *entire* series, I know that you might also like Nichijou. It's very random and silly.
I also noticed you haven't seen Ouran yet. Not sure if you would like it or not, but I'm interested to find out your opinions of it.
You're right, actually. I will change my rating for 5cm per second. I think I based the 9 probably on graphics alone. I'll rate it a 6, since I didn't really hate it. I usually rate things under 5 if I ever felt like dropping it. I don't really believe in dropping things because I want to give things a chance. I might put something on hold and pick it up later if I find it terribly excruciating to watch.
I dunno. Maybe I just felt that the Clannad Another World things were...kind of pointless to the series. Like the series was really good, and then it just had these other episodes where he fell for someone else...it just felt out of place.
I do like reading, and like I said, I will read a manga if I wasn't satisfied with the anime (to see if they left out things that would've made it better). If you gave me a good manga or visual novel recommendation, I would probably read/watch it. I just happen to like animes better for a better interpretation of the actions going on in each scene.
Yeah, I plan on reading Kare Kano and Fruits Basket. I already know there is a lot of Fruits Basket that got left out in the anime. Even an entire character. I already know a little bit about it, but not much. There is supposed to be a character that Hatsuharu falls in love with.
DEFINITELY WATCH NODAME CANTABILE! Yes, I shouted that at you. Do it.
I actually liked Toradora til the end. I put a great deal of how I rate my animes on how good the ending was. Like, I guess I just expected something less....rash? Like, I didn't expect them to just go run off and get married or whatever. I thought it would have been something along the lines of just actually admitting they liked each other...I dunno. Maybe I am just picky. I didn't HATE Toradora though. I liked the animation, and Taiga's character was funny :)
I thought Lovely Complex was hilarious. That's why I liked it so much. I liked the Hanshin Kyojin references, and I also liked how they didn't get together right away. It kind of kept the suspense going for me, it kept me interested. The only character I found truly annoying was Seiko. That voice.....dear lord....shoot me.
I try to get myself excited about manga, but stillframes don't do it for me. I can read it just fine, but I guess I just don't have a very good imagination. I like anime because it animates the scenes better for me. I do plan on reading SOME mangas soon though because I was displeased with the animes (Kare Kano is one of them).
YES, I do need to watch the Haruhi Suzumiya. It's long overdue. Perhaps I will do that soon.
To be honest, I wasn't AMAZED by 5 centimeters per second, but the graphics were pretty to me. I tend to like longer series...3 episode series makes me keep wishing there was more to the story. It's too simplistic for me.
I'd say my favorites would be Fruits Basket and Nodame Cantabile. I REALLY relate with Nodame. Her mannerisms match mine almost perfectly. And it's just a really really good anime.

*shrug* I honestly don't have many favorite people, I just add the voice actors that I enjoyed the most of the animes I have seen thus far.
u mad, bro?
Wondering if it changed yet :S
Oh yes, and I know have a Halloween picture :P
