These days I watch most things after they finish airing, but a friend showed me a clip from ep 1 of Aho Girl that made me decide to watch it weekly.

Well first of all Fate/Stay Night + Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Other than that Killer Queen was a fun death game VN, while Yoakena was an above average romance. If you have a DS/3DS there's also 999 and Virtue's Last Reward. They're very similar to Ever 17, especially the latter.

Steins;Gate I was gonna get on my iPod at one point, but I couldn't be bothered jumping through hoops to patch it (trickier than doing so on a computer), so I opted for the anime. I know the VN goes into more depth, but like with Higurashi the anime was more than satisfactory. It's not a Grisaia type situation, so eh.

Swan Song I haven't read but have considered.

Sharin has the same writer, Looseboy. His writing tricks/deception are present in Sharin too. Some people don't like his style of writing, but if you liked it in G-Senjou you'll like it here. G-Senjou is more popular, but quality wise the fanbase is pretty split. Some like Sharin better, some liked G-Senjou better. I'm on the fence. I don't think you'll like it more than G-Senjou, but it's still worth a look. It's less of a thriller and more an exploration of a dystopian society.

I read it last holidays, so around 6 months ago now. Usami/main route ending is very, very good. It's not my fav VN, but it probably has the best ending. You read all the routes? I read all but Tsubaki's. I like Tsubaki, but I started her route and it just didn't interest me. You read Sharin no Kuni? Same writer as G-Senjou. Different type of story (much less Death Note-y), but the same writing style. Another cool MC and villain. Also:



Also G-Senjou has a MAL entry (manga) if any of the characters are fav tier for you. Though I keep my VN favs out of my MAL favs, which is why I took Yuuji off. VN Yuuji - top 10 material. Anime Yuuji - still decent, but no-where near as good. So no anime top 10.
