I rate my anime by what I personally thought of the series or film.
I also like to take my time with anime series and enjoy them. I think a lot of people on here rush and watch anime just to increase their "anime watched" number or to be this all knowing anime snob.

I'll see you space cowboy...
I wasn’t really sure of what to expect for the first season so I was disappointed with how the made the show into a more teenager oriented show with unnecessary romance and no adventure. The second season didn’t help since the techno-bobbling and spirit stuff was boring most of the time and the final battle just seemed like a big FUCK YOU on logic. The 3rd and 4th seasons flow like a single narrated story even though they are separated by 3 years in the show but they deal with the same problem. Trust me when I say you that these are 2 seasons that need to be watched one after the other. The action, the character development, the cameos from the old series, the new abilities, the conflict and specially the villains are genius if you ask me.
You know what to do, go watch the damn 52 episodes.
It did. :) I'm enjoying it. Much different from where I use to live. A lot more stuff to do. :D
Mines was good but a little boring lol. How was yours?
I think my pacing was of 2 new anime finished in a week; it has been 1 month and a half since the last one I finished. Hopefully I’m done with Gungrave already.
Oh yeah I can totally tell that you absolutely love the rain and you love even more watching a movie or a show when it’s raining outside. I honestly think that you would also love snow; it’s has kind of the same feeling as rain. You don’t hear banging outside but it looks really beautiful and relaxing from the windows. Then you remember you have to go to school and that your driveway isn’t going to shovel the snow by itself.
I know the feeling of being a kid, honestly, now that I’m on my mid-teens I really want to return to being a kid. I think for me the thing that brings up the feeling it’s just staying at home and doing absolutely nothing with my life. I’m also weird so yeah…
Watching Disney movies and any old movies in general in HD is like so high on the scale of awesome for me. I also grew up with VHS and sometimes the recording would be so crappy! I remember having a Yugioh movie recorded in black and white because I recorded it on a rainy day and the antenna had a bad signal. I didn’t actually buy VHS myself since, well, you know, communism (there weren’t a lot).
I’m glad you liked Hunchback; I think is the most underrated Disney film. Most people just give it a pass since it isn’t totally a kid film (Hellfire koff koff). I’m planning on watching the whole Disney classics series (no have nothing else to do with my life) so I’ll tell you when I’m with Pinocchio.
My studies….yeah….They are great….
I would love to re-watch Cowboy Bebop, in fact it's the kind of show that you can really watch any random episode and enjoy it.
Well, I got my driver's permit, the test was incredibly easy. Now I'll have to do is practice driving for a few months before I take the actual road test.
Have you watched any other anime recently? Are you still watching Revolutionary Girl Utena or G Gundam?
It's funny, because playing GTA sort of got me nervous about driving lol. Still, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it once I start. I mean, millions of people drive, so it can't be too hard to figure out. Thanks for the encouragement.
I see, that's sort of how I watch One Piece. Since it's a long series, I just watch it for the experience rather than trying to get up to date. I'll consider Case Closed.
Oh nice, the new Smash Bros is sick, I love it. Haven't played the new Mario Kart, but I loved the one for Wii. I also watched My Neighbor Totoro for the first time a few weeks ago. It was pretty good, but I think after watching the more "exciting" Ghibli movies like Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, I might have set my expectations a bit too high. I still liked it though. Oh, and don't worry, they'll explain more of the story in Eureka 7 the more you watch it. Believe me, it's a great series, it even struck me emotionally at some points lol.
I've been doing good, I just finished my winter session for school. Now I have a week off until my next semester starts. Right now, I'm planning on getting my driver's permit this upcoming week, since I feel like I'm finally ready to learn. So hopefully everything will go well with that.
I think I saw an episode of Case Closed on Adult Swim years ago, but that's about it. I once wanted to watch it, but it's way too long. Have you seen it?
Cool, Psycho Pass is really good show, I recommend it. I also bought the second season of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, which I'm gonna start once I finish Psycho Pass.
No worries. Sorry for the late reply as well. I was super busy with moving and didn't have internet up until the beginning of this week.
Also, Happy valentine's day!
I forgot to carry around my motivation for anime in the past month. I think this is the first time I went at the pace of “one anime per month” since I was elementary school.
If being slow is what Mamoru Oshii wanted, oh boy can we say he did SUCEED at that. It was interesting for what it was but I wouldn’t give it another watch personally. The second is kind of like the first one, I liked that one better though.
“It's not something I would watch often but on a slow rainy day in the future I wouldn't mind popping it in and giving it another watch.” You really like giving an atmosphere to your anime do you. haha
It’s cool you are rewatching Bebop , sometimes nostalgia is the best way to go on and start watching other stuff.
I have a LOT of the Disney movies myself, more than half of the 54 at least.
I remember being scared of Pinnochio as a kid, you know, the donkey transformation koff koff. I own Fox and the Hound on VHS, That’s one of my favourites too. The ending made me cry as a kid, when Todd falls off the waterfall.
I understand on Hunchback case, you know, most villains songs talk about how evil the guy is or something like that, Judge Frollo sings about he is obsessed about Esmeralda and that it’s awakening his sexual desire. To believe the movie it’s rated all ages…
One fact even crazier is that it’s my favourite Disney song….it’s just so danm epic to listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqGL9B_TPTI
Everything is great(apart those exams), thanks!! Hope you have been doing well too.
Honestly man, I'm with you, there are way more important things in life than just worrying over how many likes you'll get on a status or photo.
Btw, you gotta watch Psycho Pass, it's really good.
Tell me about it! Literally, one of my friend's ex-girlfriends used to tell my friend to tell me to like one of her pictures. He once said, "Could you like her picture?" I would ask, "Why do you need to ask me that?" He says, "Because she has 59 likes and needs 60." Like what the hell? It's just a stupid like! Lol
Hell, I use Snapchat and they'll sometimes have videos of people at certain events. They have one for Groundhog's Day, with people at some crappy looking fire and folk concert (not even a good one). One of the pictures had a caption saying, "Be Jealous." Another was a video of people listening to some guy playing a quiet song with his acoustic guitar, with a guy in the crowd just randomly shouting, "FUCK YEAAAAAAAH!!!!" Lmao, some people just feel the need to show off too much, whatever happened to modesty? Lol
