Well let me give you an advice.
Just for the information.

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama.

You said it! Especially the music... the music was just something else. I knew from the moment I saw the ending scene in episode 1 that we're in the presence of greatness and what can I say, it really was that great.

Man these OSTs are just too good. I don't remember not liking a single one.

Anyway, what was your favorite scene of the entire series? And yes, the BIG question, Setsuna or Kazusa?

Hahaha, thanks. At a rating of 8.08, yes I do feel that it is still underrated probably because of the extremely polarizing ending. I've been seeing a lot of users lately who aren't used to heavy drama and sad endings which is probably the main reason why, but I've also talked to a guy that he rated it so coz he didn't really pay attention to it and I think he saw that most users are going for that score, so he did just that. But imo, you shouldn't really take the MAL rating system seriously. :P

Anyway, WA2 is just so great, isn't it? Although the story is just your typical J-drama (or any drama for that matter), the characters.. they just blew me away. Realism at its best.
