Yes. 1k meant finishing 1000 completed. When I was new to MAL, it was a very rare thing, but I guess with time, it became a not so special thing.

I finally started re zero again. Im going in with S1.

I went over your profile. It looks real good. Liking the vibe with the favs.

I started dungeon meshi. Its hard to get into it but its definitely a good show. Though I struggle to continue with it.

I have been re watching films and playing games on my old console for nostalgia and it pays well.

Been busy with a bunch of things but I guess that is just how life is gonna be from now on.

A lot has happened on my end irl, but for the greater gist of it, life has been going in a direction.

I joined the 1k club. I was 990+ in december and only joined 1k recently hahaha. Time for anime has been short as well.
But I have been re watching many shows so my re watch count is slowly but steadily going up. We are currenty watching AOT so that is another re watch for me.

Im also planning to start watching various movies with my spouse since she has almost no exposure to the film media. Im planning on introducing her to the superhero universe bit by bit since they are culturally important to know.

I loved the dues ex machina part of slime S2 alot, because I was heavily and emotionally invested and I wanted that to happen. But well, Im glad you got back to liking it, Slime is one of my fav isekais and its good shot, I hope we get more seasons. I have yet to watch S3 tho. Too occupied.

As for Blue Exorcist, I wanted to give it a second try but looking at my life, I think I may have to abandon that wish.

Its been long Jake san.
Im sorry I have been busy. I have been more preoccupied with my MS than I was when I was on job. Its tough but its fun because of the healthy challenges that are pushing me forward.
Im also getting married soon and have been busy in the preparations for that. Yes!! I finally was able to win the war on my end to have her family bend to our will of letting the girl be free and be married to me. Its a long and troublesome story and there still is a lot of problems associated with it but things are looking good so this month and the next one are gonna be even more packed.
Hence my disappearance. My anime watching has been reduced to a micro level. I started FLCL a few days ago, and Im loving it. Even though its just 6 eps, im going slow due to routine.

For manga, in bits I read a shoujo manga called tsuiraku JK to Haijin. Its probably gonna become on of my favorite shoujo mangas tbh. You may not like it though since its a teacher student romance and I think you are sensitive to those themes regarding the age aspect etc.

I read you said re zero S3 is going to be 50+ eps in cours. I doubt that. ( I REALLY WISH THOUGH ) but I am not watching S3. Im waiting for it to finish so I can binge. The weekly stuff in my current routine will just ruin the fun.

Nega Posi anglar had a decent first ep but it did not motivate me to watch it further after the second and third ep. Might have to take that one slow.
All the other shows you mentioned are ones im hyped about and im glad you are liking them cause it means i may like them too.

As for bleach, I dropped it. I just felt irritated by it. Its probably my bias. The manga arc was terrible and the anime is correcting it and the anime has some of the best direction of all time so that is great. Its just, I LOATHE the whole thousand year arc premise. From the get go it felt like the most uncontrolled wild and useless premise. The insane lack of power scaling ruined it even more when captains are gettings their asses kicked by mobs and ichigo comes to save the day. I get the main character bias but the disrespect to the rest of the soul society just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Especially with how the 0 squad was handled.

Good to know that you will be liking the one piece remake arc. I for one am going to skip, I am yet to even catch up on egg head island arc. But given the fan you are for one piece, it would have been a shame had you skipped it so im glad you are liking it.

I had given up on Blue exorcist long ago. and the faint hope that I should get to it was snubbed by you when you said its useless.

As for uzumaki. I heard the first ep was phenomenol. But the rest of it was crap. I have yet to watch it myself so cannot really form an opinion as of yet.

For spice and wolf, I was waiting for post marriage time so i can watch with my wife (along with all the other shows, hence why i was aiming at shows i thought only i would like, the elitist kinda ) so ye, Will be watching that with her later on. as for .... blue box, its a show i was waiting for way long. Before an anime was even in sights, i had hopes it would come one day. SO ye, highly anticipating it because i heard its super good.

And giji was a short manga, some 80 chapters that too of only 8 eps, so while a few parts were skipped, it wasnt the anime fault. The pacing was somewhat similar in the manga too i would say. Unlike horimiya, it was different because the author went with an approach similar to a 4 koma anime / manga.

I would recommend you finish it, because dropping at 8 ep seems like kind of a waste.

Its been a long while, almost a month. I left my job and started uni again. Doing my MS. Its too tough and has sucked away all my free time. Life feels more hectic then when it was doing a job.

Giji was fun. A bit different from what I imagined but it was very natural. The script writing was very good but the execution of the overall vibe was poor. I understand budget issues but still, it felt like a waste of such an amazing potential. I still enjoyed the show but because of my bias, i had higher hopes.

as for isekau suicide squad. Guess ima pass on it for the time being. Not really in the mood to watch DC villains do predictable stuff in an isekai.

Despair and pleasure both leading to death simply gives us a beautiful controversy that be it either, death is inevitable and humans should live their life like they are supposed to live.

I can go in detail if you want but I think the point I want to elaborate on is discussed. So ye. This philosophical aspect of Babylon is what makes me love the show and I love how sheer pure raw evil magase ai is, making her one of my favorite villains.

Texhnolyze was amazing. Though I am not sure if it's the best show for a re watch, but nevertheless, the direction, execution and concept of the anime was amazing. It was a show based on nihilism but it was done right.
It's dry and slow and has its own vibe but it was still a damn good show to watch.

Oh, I'm glad you liked the first episode of Babylon. The psycho pass vibes are because the director (I think) is the same. If not, atleast some big person in the production of this show is the same person behind psycho pass. Something like that.

i finished season 2 of genshiken as well and oh boy, it was such an enjoyable journey. Truly an anime made well. There is a genshiken second generation too but ima keep that for later now.

I started kingdom and finished aoyama kun is clean freak which was a low budget show but had a good comedy.

I personally enjoyed great pretender's sequel. I personally thought it was a prequel until i started it and was like, wait, its a sequel, damn. I shared the same thought that it was not needed but nevertheless it was a fun vibe so i enjoyed the show with the different new characters.

Thank you for being a friend like this. Talking anime and a bit of real life and other stuff is something I want to do more with more people but on discord, while communication is more easy, the ease of access makes it pointless at many times. That's why this letter sorta exchange is really fun.

Im sorry for the delay which was more than the usual. I was busy with stuff. One after another. At first, there was a trip to the village, then followed my job where the burden increased suddenly but i was happy to be engaged, then followed my termination because some BOD (board of members) thought i misbehaved with him in the meeting. My whole team along with my team lead was within that meeting. No one thought anything happened. Heck, no even said anything during the meeting. I was not even aware something happened. Only after i got home, i saw a mail which said i had been terminated with effect immediately. To me it was a shock because the reason was misconduct and i was so unsure as to what i even did. My team lead at that time was unaware too. The next day i went to the office to inquire where the BOD member wont even meet eyes and the other members asked me to leave the office for a bit. One of them called me later for a one on one meeting. He was unrelated to the issue but said the person in charge did not want to meet me. I asked and he told me the meeting misbehave thing. I simply clarified my stance, gave them my end of the year, told him to pass the message to the other BOD to do his job without biases, and ye, I left,

So it was kinda hard for me because I really needed cash by September. I saved a good amount but more wouldn't have hurt given i could have worked till augist to get two more salaries. Anyways, it is what it is, then i got busy at home stuff and so on,
finally today, i got the opportunity to open up my PC.

MY favorite thing of the whole message was your favorite act. YOu said you love Sanding. The reason you gave was just .... it sounds simple but to me it was kinda like an awe struck moment. As for fairy tail. I was so excited. I tried to watch the episode as it aired. Simulcast. But crunchyroll in my area did not upload it. I tried vpn and stuff etc but nothing worked (wanted to play it on my tv) .... RIP. Then a friend told me muse has it on yt. So i was 30 min late but i watched it. And you worded it perfectly. Same animation, comedy, adventure, etc .... its like fairy tail never ended.
(I wished the animation would have been slightly better but rip) IT still brought so many wonderful feelings. There is a mountain of things to complain about but i love it and enjoy it by heart and its an amazing feeling.

As for kino, its one of the oldest shows in my ptw so im glad to hear the remake holds potential.
Bartneder was something i enjoyed alot. It felt very fleshed. As someone who directly jumped into the franchise with this anime, i had no complains but maybe from your perspective, there might be issues.

about salad bowl, hmmm, i can understand you dropping it, i was surprised at myself for liking it but it is what it is. I gave it a 6/10 but i enjoyed it nevertheless. It had a charm to it. As for the ecchiness, tbh, it kinda lacked that aspect. Even the animation kinda slowed down in the later half of the show.

Most of the anime you mentioned are stuff i will probably hold off on watching directly this season, but it helped me get a picture of some good shows to add to my list for later. Thank you.

As for me, I just rewatched babylon. Was reminded why i love the series so much. Its so good. Definitely one of the best psychological shows out there.
I caught up on hajime no ippo s1 and the sequel films, taking a break before starting season 2,
finished a drama sports called "stars align" It started of amazingly but it kinda lost its charm in the later half, from a 8/10 it became a 6/10.
I also started Ballroom e youkoso, but its super hard to watch. My stomach churns when i try to watch it. Its a psychological problem of my own tbh. Its a good anime so i dont want to drop it but i have forced myself for over 2 weeks now but cant get past ep 4.
Next im going to watch the sequel to great pretender and an anime called genshikin. Its a 2004 anime about anime culture so its an otaku parody apparently. I will let you know more when i start it.

As of now, i havent started any seasonal anime. Tho a show called psedo harem caught my eye. I would like to binge it tho later on. It seems my cup of tea. I hope it does not disappoint. There also the Ayla or the russian girl anime. Would be a cliche time pass but i enjoy that (at times) so will keep it for later for such times as well.

Btw, Salad bowl started very meh but somehow i got attacked to it by the end of the season. It was a really fun experience for a slice of life show. The characters were really fun in their own way. I wont mind a seaosn 2. While i gave it a 6, I enjoyed it for what it was, unlike other shows that started good but went downhill.

Hmmmm, Kaiju being a loser suddenly pulling moves like L was indeed a put off for me because it made zero sense. but anyways, I get ya.

The problems you shared with me sounds tough. Have you got yourself checked with a psych for the sleep thingy. Its not severe but could become so later. As a student of psych, I think there must be some hidden manifestations that are stopping you. I would recommend talking and taking advice from a professional on this note. Also, just as a precaution, try to avoid screen and gadgets when you cannot sleep. Before your sleep time, atleast give 1 hour of pause. And if you are bored and cannot sleep as would be in the initial days, read a book or something but try to avoid screens because that will make the situation pretty worse in the long term.
Im sure the sinus issue must be a real bother as well. I dont know of any suggestions on that end but I wish u luck. Also, try to take magnesium supplements, they are supposedly cheap and will help u in both fatigue and sleep in general.

What's a joiner btw? You mentioned there being a lot of dust. So is it construction related or wood work something?

As for your stress. Do you have a friend or perhaps your gf with whom you can share your daily troubles? Sharing does help in alleviating the stress even if its a little. Its a proven study so, take my word for it. You can also write a small diary or journal. Maybe do that at night and it will help u with calming down for your sleep as well.

The food thing is a real issue as well. Diet is THE most imp element when it comes to your health. But proper diet becomes expensive af. As someone who started gym and wanted to fix my diet, I realized what a strain it becomes on the pocket just to eat basic healthy food to be on the bare minimum. I cannot even imagine protien powders and such but trying to eat stuff even the bare minimum costs alot. So i can totally understand how expensive it becomes to manage proteins and vitamins which are hard to find in normal foods.

I can only recommend roastedchickpeas for they are cheap and relatively has more protein and are great for fluu (nose clearings) so ye. Other than that, try to drink milk and eat yoghurt. If possible, take more meat weekly. For breakfast you can take a tiny amount of cheese and mix with 100g of gram flour and mix in some vegetables to make a batter and cook it like an omlete and eat it. Its cheaper and should provide a decent protien especially since you arent working out to bulk or anything so should do the trick for you.

I hope you sort out things in your life, the parents thing surly would have led you to be more stress prone. I also hope and wish you luck for your job that you get a better one or get a pay raise.

Tower of fantasy made me feel like its that sorta game where you build a land and defend it with towers of all sorts to keep enemies away. Kinda like that social empire dragon city games on facebook hahaha
but it seems it has a whole lore to it....
