I "review" everything i watch in the comments of each entry on my list. As far as I can tell I don't skew my ratings lower in general than most, but rather "compress" them. I'm pretty hesitant to give out extreme negative or positive scores. if I give something an 8 it made me actively vibrate in my seat multiple times at least—a 6 is more positive than negative, overall! I also rate stuff on a different mental scale based on it's genre.
I prefer things that are complete stories and not things that run on endlessly. Open-ended endings are nice but I don't like obvious sequelbait. I generally prefer anime that isn't adapted from manga for this reason.
A lot of my list is "legacy" stuff I watched as a teen and don't really have super good memory of, sadly. I've still rated the stuff I've finished, but if I were to rewatch my opinion might be different.
I will add stuff to my plan-to-watch without reading a thing about them just based on artstyle. Heehee!
Mission-chan's Great Adventure
Read 7/7.
Started and finished on May 20th, 2023.
Rating: 6.5 idk
Notes: It goes nowhere, not that I mind too much. It's clearly just a cerebral if deeply-troubled project. The mixed media reminds me of Cate Wurtz comics in a way I haven't really ever seen or felt outside of her work (this is a complement).
