Hello my name is Iro and I'm an avid anime fan. I have watched many many anime over the years so I'm quite picky about what I like and what I don't. If you go over my anime list perhaps you'll find that I rate most anime pretty low. The reason why is because I use the full 10 point scale to rate my anime, unlike most people where they'll mostly rate animes 5-10. Sometimes I try to browse through other people's lists and find they rate everything they like 10 10 10! and maybe a 5 for animes they don't like.
Well I find that very annoying, the 10 point scale is there for a reason ya know? When I look at other people whose lists are like that, its difficult to pick the good ones from the bad. In my book an anime with a 5 is an average anime where you can probably enjoy if you turn your brain off (but is by no means bad), anything over 5 is worth a watch. A 10 would be an utterly entertaining masterpiece that'll probably make you cry, make you laugh or have you gripping the edge of your seat in terror/suspense and have you awake at 4am because you want to finish one more episode. Likewise anything that's a 1 will probably be something so incredibly bad that it'll give you eye cancer and have you wishing for a time machine to avoid the critical strike to your brain.
I hope my list will help viewers with similar interests as I to sort the gems from the trash. If we share similar titles we both like be sure to send me a message so I can compare lists and maybe pick out a good anime I've never seen or two!
Cheers

Overall I'm just disappointed with the Madoka franchise because it could have been a masterpiece but wasted a lot of its potential due to going for shock value. I still like some parts and overall it's enjoyable though.
btw may I ask why you rated Berserk a 1? I'm guessing it's because it doesn't have an ending (forcing you to read the manga basically) but otherwise (heh) it's top quality.

Don't give up hope! With any chance, the producers might listen to some viewer feedback and finally hit the right chord.
