I rate anime and manga based on how much I enjoyed them, very rarely do I issue a rating judging the anime itself. Yes I'm that guy who dishes out high ratings.

A 10 means that its kept me engaged and entertained throughout the entire show.
A 9 means that there was a point or a few points that bored me.
An 8 means that for example, the last few episodes were painful to get through but the rest of the series was really enjoyable.

I rate anime critically when I have expectations, that would usually be I read the manga.

My favourite Genres are slice of life, action, comedy and shounen.
Gintama will forever be my favourite show.
