Did the ending not bring a lump to your throat, and a tear to your eye? The fate of the brave heroes of legend. I just thought it was so well conceived and well executed.
If it's anything like what's written on my wall, then it'd be great! If you were OK with it, I could do a guest post on my blog (crediting you of course). I do have quite a small audience, but an audience nonetheless. I'm really interested in this kind of discussion, and this particular topic, so if you're willing that'd be super fun!
Yeah, I had forgotten about that particular moment. It was very surreal but also very Yoshiuki Tomino. As a side note, I don't think you'd enjoy the compilation movies all that much. The story of Zeta is pretty packed, so when things get cut out, you really feel it.
If super robot fans are decrying sub-par animation, then they have quite a frustrating road ahead of them =). More egregious than the animation is when they let someone other than the primary person do the character modeling. I think I'm going to do a blogpost with just comparison shots.
I was thinking about what you said about Dancougar the other day, and I remembered that there was a 2000s reboot/spinoff of the show called Dancougar Nova. That's definitely in SRW, so maybe that's the show people said wasn't good? Hope so, cause the original is great.
I love how the show integrates the casts. It's really underrated how good of a job Tomino and co. did in that department because it could have been a disaster.
Ah, Goldymarg. He's great. Soon enough the show is going to truly break its format and go serialized, which is when it gets great. also, keep your eye out for GGG's explanation of how the dinosaurs became extinct. There are no words.

You've eaten your vegetables; prepare for the best dessert of your life.
This is a really interesting line of thought. Would it be something you'd be willing to write about at length?
