It's also good to hear that stuff seems to be going pretty well at your end. I've been pretty much going through the same things as you these past several years; trying to discover what jobs are suited for me, things that aren't suited for me. So yeah, floating around jobs similar to what you've been doing I'm guessing. I lived in Japan for 2 years and 1 year in South Korea while I was gone from the MAL community, but I'm back in Canada now. (I didn't get to watch any anime or play much games while I was there). Growing up and learning responsibilities as an adult and whatnot aren't as easy as I had originally thought a couple years back. I'm still getting used to a lot of things and hoping things could improve from here on out (no thanks to Corona), but I'm pretty well overall. Thanks for asking! :)
How are you? How have you been? o_o
---finding anther Penguindrum fan around these neck of the woods haha. Hey there, I'm glad to see there's another fan of Ikuhara's magnum opus. :3 I think it's aesthetically and esoterically one of the pinnacles of the medium, next to End of Eva, of course... which... has still bent my mind in twain, to this day. o-o Honestly, I still believe that End of Evangelion's second half abandons its narrative in exchange for a constant stream of conscioussness which is ALL good, but the disconnect was so strong with me that, while shocking surely, I was never able to resonate with it in a way others have in this regard.
I guess my question is, the one I've been trying to string together: Do you think End of Eva is so great because of it's confusing nature, or because of the confusing-nature's relation with the narrative.. if that makes sense? Basically, do you think of the other half of End of Eva as an entirely different film, or so strong because it relates to the themes of the work?
Sorry if that seems to contradict itself haha.

I have a bit of a fascination with the franchise myself, but that's for another conversation haha.
