Subs vs Dubs? As a rule, I generally prefer subs, and will watch anime subbed when I start a series. But I may watch an episode (if I really like the series) dubbed and see if I like it. Generally there are almost voices for certain characters in the English dub that make me cringe, which aren't meant to be so annoying. A good example is Raki from Claymore. His voice in the English dub makes some people hate the whole series. It's like having Krillin's English voice for a character that isn't supposed to be unlikeable. There are some series that have excellent English dubs. One particular example is DragonBall Z, at least in my opinion. Goku's English voice is a bit annoying, but for someone like Vegeta, I think the English voice really fits his character better. Another good example is the English voice for Cell.
Some people make it a rule not to drop anime, even if they hate it. I drop anime (and manga) if it's crap. I watched the first few episodes of Steins;Gate and FMA: Brotherhood, and really didn't like them. But they are so well received that I decided to watch a few more episodes. I still didn't end up liking them, and don't plan on watching any more episodes.

Honestly, I'm impressed you've stuck with the site for this long, with all those issues involving art sourcing and whatnot. xD
Just pretend Tumblr is a completely separate word from tumbler, with no relation between the two. I mean, how many brand names actually make perfect grammatical sense?
