Not that it was bad. I doped it because it was spoiled for me, hence I asked for a recap and I didn't really like it (I don't detail why in case you want to see it), also because it was VERY dense and I dislike extreme violence. Muramasa is very EDGY, not my kind of vn.
Oh, I understand. By the way, if you will play all the routes, the order is like this: Yako, Meguru, Bad End (Sumi) and Mikazuki. I tell you this, since leaving the bad end for the last would be a mistake.
Oh, hello, yes, I deleted it recently, as I found it tedious when a work entered my favorites and I had to reorganize my list. I tend to get involved with works outside the Japanese medium, I do it when a writer catches my attention enough (for example, Cyrano caught my attention because of SubaHibi) or if I'm interested in a movie. However, I don't get that involved, if you were to ask me whether I prefer Japanese media or the rest of the media, my answer would be Japanese media. Answering your question, I do get involved, but not that much. My rating system is quite unusual in that it is global.
Thanks! I'm doing well, actually I'd even say I'm doing much better than 5 years ago.
I'm really happy you liked the movie, after all it's one of my favorites. And it means I managed to successfully recommend something to somebody, which is also a plus^^
Nana isn't great. Like, at all. After episode 30 it meandered into ridiculous territory of soap opera melodrama starring the female pulp fiction classic trope No 1. It doesn't end properly, it develops bigger 'tell don't show syndrome' the longer it gets, still I somehow stopped to understand relationships between main casts. All of the drama start to happen only because a) characters act plain retarded or b) plot demands it. And most of the main cast ceases to be likable. And since it hits two main heroines the most...
And for people of inclination to be socially sensitive it was fucking rage inducing. I think I don't recommend it. All the more I read synopsis of what happens later in the manga and it gets ridiculous squared.
I was thinking about reading Punpun for a while, but I'm postponing it, since I really don't like reading manga on-line. I'll check out Touch, but maybe I'll watch an anime instead? However even if Cross Game was great I'm still skeptical about baseball. And love triangle? well, I have usually big problems with love triangles.
If you are from USA it would be no wonder you haven't heard about this, it's Central European niche cinema.
Nana is great! Like for now it is gripping. Mind you, it's nothing ground-breaking, it's a simple SoL about relationships which strives to be as emotionally authentic as possible. IMO in the 25 episodes I watched it totally succeeds.
oh, and I have another film recommendation for you - when you finish The Brothers Karamazov and like it I believe you could check out the Czech movie Karamazovi. It's absolutely wonderful.
