I really enjoyed the whimsical stop-motion animation of Madame Tutli-Putli. Also, her eyes were so expressive! Especially when they showed her cry. The CBC always chooses the best animations!! ^_^
I am watching The Prophet at the moment and was just about to change it again. If you have not seen it yet, I highly recommend it because it is VERY beautiful!
Nie rozumiem więc skąd na liście tag "Nowhere with English or Polish subtitles yet, only dubbing. I'll be waiting."...

Hello, I saw a few of your comments in starshinesMonet's page. I couldn't quite follow most of what you two were discussing (I'm slow that way), but from what little I did understand, I'm guessing these were involved:
I've only watched the last. The BGM was too loud which kind of bothered me, but it was moderately fun overall.
I read some theorizing opinion somewhere in the far past that the school genre is widely used because it makes it easier to relate to the target audience and it's also a way for mangaka to vent about their hangups. ^,^'
The last anime series that I have seen that did not have cutesy or serious art is Thermae Romae.
I don't know who first began spreading the misguided notion that scores should be objective. Sure, scoring should be made in a consistent manner for the values to be useful. However, why should we force ourselves to rate "objectively" when we watch anime and read manga for entertainment? ~,~'
With that in mind, I remain scoreless for a few days now. I had painstakingly removed all my past "haphazardly inputted" scores. I am still thinking of how to reevaluate all I have completed so far. It would be so nice if the solution appears to me in a dream (like some solutions actually do). >,<
Setting aside my ranting, it's nice to meet you and I wish you well in all your endeavors. :)

I like your idea of 'slice of school life' anime drawn in diffrent styles. This is sad - Japan is producing tons of anime in kawaii style, but so little of nice, maybe a bit strange drawn ones. I understand - quantity buyers want it, but...
So, I've been thinking more seriously about that series I mentioned to you and I decided to watch the three anime that actually are about art students. None of the three have used this idea so far (only ep. 3 on each series), but it seems too redundant to use this theme yet again unless I could produce a FAR better story than what these offer.
So, my question for you is as both a viewer and an artist, what would you have liked to see in an anime about art students that you feel is lacking in either these anime, if you've seen them, or in the high school genre of anime in general? I like unique story lines best and most of these kinds of anime don't offer that, but wanting it and actually producing it are two very different things...

I am currently enjoying The Alchemist's Letter:

It seems like a higher production value than I normally go for, but I thought it was nice.
Also, I am well. Thanks for asking - And you? Good luck with your studying!!

Even if you're not from the States or don't celebrate it, I'm still thankful that I know you just a little bit from this far off ether.
