i dunno about you but i'd be pretty grossed out about having to kiss my 13-year old crush/bf when im mentally 26 and that's just something i can't ignore when it's relevant to the plot. it's one of the very reasons why similar genres like isekai are so terrible, the older dude romantically involved with literal child dynamic is one im much happier without.
