こんにちは! I'm Eric. I'm 19 years old and I live in the grand old land of America. I am a wanna-be web designer, part-time graphic designer who happens to watch anime when the constraints of time and space allow me to. I am currently studying design, computer science, and Japanese. When I'm not increasing my knowledge or otherwise enriching my existence, you can usually find me reading a book, or squandering my time perusing the internet.
I love meeting new people, so feel free to leave me a comment! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and you know that's what makes the world go 'round.

Go for it! Computer science seems to be collecting a lot of "adepts" recently. LOL.
2 friends of mine gonna try it... One of them is also really good with CSS, HTML and all... I'm lucky, whenever my pc breaks down, I got personal tech support ^^"
Yeah, you're the second person from US I speak with that had the same reaction. I guess you don't listen very often about people studing abroad because the best institutions are already there. Always that I see these animes with students going study abroad I feel more depressed ><" I mean, they got a great education there and yet are aiming to something better, while us here can't even leave high school with a good knowledge. ~_~
It's definately a adventure... and I'll probably be scared of being alone all by myself. LOL' (oh, wait, this sentc. was redundant wasn't it?)
Yeah, I know this feeling... it sucks.
I think there's a torrent on bakabt that was subbed by Exiled. I like their translators, they do a pretty decent job.
hahahaha, it's not one of my favorites neither, these horror stuff... nah~~
I prefer my moe. :p
But... Higurashi is kind of a exception. The story is incredible well done and I got addicted to it. Now the only way for me to understand what is really going on and how will it end is watching the 2nd and 3rd season...
Incoming nightmares in 3...2...
No, I have been looking for the manga and I have a volume, and I have to admit that I really love it! I see. But I don't think I am going to watch it... I mean, I am not really a fan of long anime's, and I won't ever be able to catch up >.<
Oh~! I diden't know.... Great, I should too ^^ Thank you for telling ^^
Oh yes I see.
Yeah, I myself also have to start concentarting on school mor eif I want to make it into next year... and over 1 1/2 I have my exams already, I will be 15 years when I have to do them >.<
And yeah, I don't have much time to watch anime, and I have to say that it is not really on top of my list, honestly. ^^
Yeah, me too... My life is so boring, haha! ^_^
Yeah, the card should be easy to install. Hell, I even install HDDs in my computer with it still running. But, my Mobo and BIOS allow that. I would not recommend installing any card into a hot computer. Turn it off, pop the side, remove a screw and plate from an expansion slot of the type needed and solidly seat the card. Be sure to use the screw to tighten the card. Then pop the side back on, connect the card to your monitor, and re-start the computer. The card should allow you to access the net to get you driver if you haven't already done so. Nice thing about the cards is they will allow a monitor to run before even installing the drivers.
1080p vs 720p.....at my age there is little difference my eyes can see. I get 1080p because many sites allow freeleach for 1080p, which is great for ratio building and keeping it high. I have uploaded over 5TB at BBT and have downloaded about 2.5TB without the freeleach titles counting against me. So my ratio usually hovers around 1.9 to 2.1 at all times.
That 5450 card should work well for you. I would assume that you know whether it is PCI or PCIe as the slots are different. The newer board s have both and older board's may have both, but only 1 PCIe (the e stands for express). If you make sure to turn off the computer and ground yourself to the chassis you should be OK. Easy install and the software is usually easy as well. I'd use Sapphire's software and ignore Windows drivers. You get better results using manufacturer's software.
He finished high school 3 years ago and started working right away, he was making a pretty good money but he decided to go to college in order to "rank up" in his job...
I'm glad I was able to find out what I want to do in time. I'm going to apply for a public university (publics are way better than private here. it's a messed up thing) in another state, so I'm probably going to live alone (or with friends, who knows).
I'm trying get selected to a student interchange program that allows some students go abroad and study the last couple years of the graduation in US, Canada, Japan, Germany, etc... ('cause, honestly, education here sucks.)
Maybe we'll end up neighbours. Who knows. hahahaha'
It's never too late! And since you're enrolling now, you have lots more of knowledge with japanese, for example, and in your area than someone who just finished high school ^^"
Do you have something in mind that you'd like to study?
Yeah, I watched a bunch of these series like One Piece... Now I'm into more serious stuff (not drugs) LOL
I'm getting the courage to finally finish the 2nd and 3rd seasons of Higurashi...
Maybe I can try starting OnePiece at episode 31 *hehehe* since I already know the characters... then I'm just skipping the fillers ;P
Yeah, I did expand my Profile page and had to add that picture of Rukia.
I couldn't even tell you right now what I uploaded at AB, and don't care. Lots of music, about 76 titles and the rest of the 102 were anime.
I'm not stressed with college anymore, just fulfiled my pact with Allucard and Lucy already promissed she would help me. Muuhahahahahaha~
Ok... back to real life... it's study all day all night :p
Anyway, until June~July I'm still cool, since exams starts only on August :D
One Piece doesn't work for me... I tryed watching it, but, nah...
Tipical boys shounen, I guess I watched too much of it when I was young that now I find it boring =x
Yeah, I have so much to watch that I'll be busy for at least 4 years just trying to catch up to my ever growing list on PTW. I already have another 9 torrents earmarked for download and more that will be available over the next couple years. I seriously doubt I will ever run out of something I've never seen to watch. According to MALGraph, I have only watched less than 11% of what is listed on MAL. So.......yeah, it's a lot! LOL
Thanks for liking my Profile Page. I try to make some changed from time to time when I have new items for my list or shuffle it or find a new picture like that one of Rukia. Damn, that one is gorgeous!!!. That page was a lot of work, but I think it was worth it. Also, building my main list was a lot of work, but I now know what I actually have and had.
I don't know how things are over there, but here the average for Mechanics Engeneering (what I wish to do) is 28/1 in the university I wanna enroll. I just need Lucy to kill 27 other ppl and I'm cool. Muuahahahahaha~
I wish Aria could hit the top 10. I know the 3rd season is already on 25th but I would label the entire collection as a masterpiece. (not to be compared with Clannad, but still, I consider it better than Gintama).
Right now I'm starting the 3rd season... it's a long series indeed, but it won't bother you. Each episode is a joy to watch ^^"
