If you want any anime recommendations, don't hesitate to ask, as I am very happy to give you some. On the contrary, if you have any anime recommendations for me, please let me know!😁
Here is my scoring system! Keep in mind that the biggest contributors to these scores are entertainment value and emotional impact! :D
10/10: "Favorite among the favorites." It was an unforgettable experience that will stick with me forever. These anime are very special to me in some personal way.
9/10: "Loved it." It was an experience that really struck a chord with me—be it through its immense entertainment value, incredibly inviting atmosphere, striking emotional impact or a combination of these—in such a way that I can't help but love it.
8/10: "Very enjoyable." It was an experience that notably stood out among the particularly positive ones, in a way that really appealed to me.
7/10: "Liked it." It was a positive experience, due to it being entertaining and/or interesting throughout (most or all of) its duration.
6/10: "Kind of like it." It was an experience that is perfectly described by the phrase "To hang out is fine", and it leans more towards "I liked it", but certainly not particularly so.
5/10: "Unappealing." It was a plain and/or uninteresting experience. Not a particularly good or bad one, and I don't have strong enough feelings toward it to give it a higher/lower score.
4/10: "Dislike." There is something (or multiple somethings) about this work that leaves me with a distasteful feeling towards it.
3/10: "Unpleasant." It stood out among the bad experiences in a way that leads me to have an unpleasant feeling toward it.
2/10: "Very strongly dislike it." It was an extremely negative experience, but it has something that I value in it.
1/10: "Torture." It was an experience that was so "painful" that I don't see how it could get much worse. There are no redeeming factors here, and it was torture to sit through something like this.
(1-4 probably have particular things I dislike about them, although the other scores may have that as well)
My favorite genres are: Drama, Romance, Slice of Life, Iyashikei, Mystery, Thriller, Psychological, and Suspense. I can enjoy pretty much every genre, but those are my favorites.

I am nervous about Hikaru's anime, but I am also hopeful. Recently, anime has been dumbed down a lot, and dumbed down horror just doesn't have the same charm!
*shakes hand*
nice to meet you!!!
That show is so good!! Ever since I watched it, I have been comparing every on-screen relationship to that. Simon and Wilhelm make every TV and movie couples look fake!
The other references are more obscure and harder to spot. I'll put them under spoilers if you're interested!
Happy birthday to you too
Sorry for the delay:(
Yeah. Like most people, I have my phone next to me and if I'm watching something boring, I immediately pick up my phone and start going through something or the other. It's a bad habit, though.
IDK about other complaints, but the 2-3 times I reported to the mods about someone being abusive, they did say they warned the person or even banned from for a few days. No way to verify that, though.
Your song was decent. Here are some you should try listening to:
Also, how was your birthday?
On my PTW are Shoshimin and Summer Pockets. Apart from those, I've set my eyes on Zatsu Tabi, Your Forma, The Mononoke Lecture Logs, and Danjoru. Also the new Gundam and Anne Shirley, but I don't plan on watching those as they air.
Yeah, probably not a bad call.
The characters lack ... character. They're just faces with names. The main love-interest is a boring creep, there are no stakes, the characters don't act like people, and the pandemic setting has no importance whatsoever. Oh, and the author doesn't realize that a frame narrative is utterly useless if there's nothing going on in it besides the main character reminiscing about her past.
Orange has masterful writing compared to this! See? I'm not slandering it, I'm praising it! XD
Yes, I think you told me your mom loves Orange haha. Are there any other anime she loves?
It's not about the aspect ratio. I guess cropped is better than stretched, but if I were to watch it, I would watch it in fullscreen but SD over HD but cropped.
4:3 aspect ratio is awesome, btw. I think we should bring it back and make it an artistic choice instead of a technological dictation.
I'm sorry, can we put off Saki for a bit longer? My currently-watching list is so crowded right now >~<
