Yes, well, I use to run two. The other was at my high school and I took all the members (about 20) to the Nashville convention, MTAC.
I moved, so I'm at another high school, bleh.
I run an Anime Group at my church for mostly adults (but I'll probably be adding more teens due to my club at school not existing). It meets every 4th Saturday with about 10 to 15 members regular. It's been on sabbatical this Summer because of everyone's schedule, but it should start back up in September.
There are a LOT more out here into anime than one may think.
At the Anime Group at church, we generally have about three hours, with which time we watch a short anime related film (maybe an episode of something or something interesting) and then watch a main feature. There's pizza, too, and conversation. It's 5 dollars for pizza, though.
Yeah, I need to do a little bit more of that as well, but I also spend a lot of time on Facebook, reading webcomics, going to OtakuCenter, and reading current news when I'm on the computer.
Not to mention, constantly Googling and Wiki searching stuff.

The important thing is to make the club look "busy" and give them reason to want to post and such. It tends to work for me.
Be careful not to seem desperate or pushy, though!
(I usually fall into the desperate category.)
