Finally made a profile to organize my watch history, but it's been a long time since I first started watching anime, so I have a lot of work to do. I'm currently trying to catch up on a lot of shows that I missed when I took a break from anime for a good couple of years.
Favorite genres: Comedy and Mystery/Suspense
The way I rate things explained:
My primary goal is to have a normal distribution of scores, so a majority of anime should be between a 5-6/10. Also, I don't rate well solely on degen elements like OPPAI and fanservice. I'm on the hunt for genuinely good anime.
[9-10] Perfection. I can hardly find anything to nitpick with these shows. If I did have any qualms, the other elements were more than enough to make up for my critiques.
[7-8] Undeniably good. Whether or not I can binge-watch these is not a question here. Rather is the content good and/or engaging.
[5-6] It's not bad, but it's not particularly good. I can't find anything major to dislike about the show, but I can't find anything major to like about the show either. It doesn't stand out from the bunch. [5] is reserved for shows that are average, but I can't bring myself to binge-watch. [6] is reserved for shows that are average, but I can comfortably binge-watch.
These are not my first choice of recommendations, but I would recommend these if you were really strapped for things to watch.
[3-4] It's below average. There are some glaring issues with the show that either make it totally unenjoyable or just plain bad. I usually reserve these scores for shows that have poor writing or unengaging characters.
I would not recommend these. They are not so bad that they are entertainingly bad, and they are certainly not good.
[1-2] Revolting. I could not find a single redeemable aspect to like about these shows (fan service does not count, just go watch porn you degenerate).
I would only recommend these if you actually wanted to watch something that's trash.
