Guilty Crown really isn't that similar, it's just that lots of Code Geass fanboys don't realize that their favorite show was ripe with cliches tons of other things used before it. On paper, Guilty Crown's whole "there's this kid who uses his friends as weapons" premise is really cool, but the show itself is just retarded.

I suggest you read my R2 review. If you enjoyed anything about R1, like the semi-serious story, decent pacing, and good characters, it all disappears in R2. It's 25 episodes of meaningless filler, ludicrous twists, mentally deficient characters and a flashy bow to tie it all together. It's entertaining, but it isn't more entertaining than R1 to the point where the really bad writing can be made up for. so yeah, nahgurl

Defending GC is my secret shame, and I've moved away from that stance ever since it became apparent the show was about apocalyptic incest. I mean, objectively the show is barely dumber than Code Geass, but it's just soooo dumb so many different ways

Yeah it sounded dead good well the way that you manged to get it across in your interview anyway!I have seen a couple of sports anime (im usually into the psychological/horror/thriller) that involve those genres as well....I was wondering if you knew any to reccomend? Kinda like sports but maybe with a touch of horror/supernatural/psychological? If that's even possible aha.

Aww that's a real shame, its really good! Especially the end I thought it was phenomenal, I myself have watched Vampire Knight and thought that was really good. But Shiki is so much better... I shall give you a link just in-case you decide to give it a watch and I've found it to be really good since megavideo went down!

Hey, I read your review on Eyeshield and you reminded me once again of how much I liked it. ^^

Since you really enjoyed it, I would urge you to check out Slam Dunk. It may be about basketball but just like Eyeshield, the comedy, school and development take first priority. Not to mention, the main character is a total goof, in a good way. Out of the sports shows I've watched, I'd say Eyeshield ranks in the top 3. The other 2 being Slam Dunk and Hajime No Ippo.
