I'm a relatively new otaku, having discovered anime just over two years ago. The first show I watched was Angel Beats! which remains one of my all-time favourites. I don't really have a specific genre that I like, but I'm not a fan of "feels" shows or sports shows. That's not to say I don't like *any* feels shows. I love Angel Beats! after all, and Clannad was pretty good. It's just I prefer shows that make me laugh to ones that make me feel sad. If I *had* to pick a favourite genre though, it'd be Yandere. I love those homicidal maniacs.
