I don't know, I think everybody who's ever engaged me in a conversation about isekai and fantasy has probably memorized the litany of reasons I consider makes Log Horizon the juggernaut of the sub-genre. I tend to do it. A LOT.
> Log Horizon: Worldbuilding, Magic System, and Brandon Sanderson's Third Law of Magic
> Log Horizon: Male Psyche Reincarnated In A Female Avatar And A Potential Positive Discourse in Sexual Identity and the Transgender Issue
> Log Horizon: The Philosophies of Hobbes, Locke, and Rousseau in the Societies of Log Horizon
I also talk about fantasy and isekai a lot because I love fantasy and I think there's potential in the isekai concept, potentials potato otaku authors are wasting, potentials high caliber Western fantasy literature authors would have a ball with. So it's unavoidable for me to dabble whenever a new isekai pops, you're just going to have to learn to live with it.
The pacing is now all over the place though. Episode 7 has a time skip, one of the main problems of the original series (though now they are more necessary due to time flowing faster).
I feel like most of the main problems from the other seasons and movie are still here.
I would like to hear more specifically what are the flaws of the review.
Improvement is always necessary, especially since I've barely reviewed anything.
