Ahhhh i see!! That's a fair point and it does come down to preference.
Hmmmmmm, well the only rom com manga I can recommend is My Dress Up Darling and Haganai (though Haganai is more echhi. Actually, My Dress Up Darling is also echhi too so if you don't mind echhi, then go for them.) XD
