Just finished Liar game. what a series. ending was actually good after I thought about the main message author was trying to convey even though i get why people didn't like it because they wanted more.
Why did Yokoya raise his hand first though. To get out from the influence under his father right?
Plotdriven stories make character depth almost uninteresting. Spending time for character development in this anime among the episode number 15 - 17 was also the most boring part of it.
Jean never turned into a villian. He's still the most humane and one of the most well written charactes in this.
I'd rather have black and white original characters than a colourful repetition.
The lack of epic moments in the second arc? Are you even serious? The second arc was VERY superior delivering plot development as well as too many hints for the viewers and welldone foreshadowing.
What was the first 10 episodes? Absolute destruction, a cliffhanger, some hints and destruction. CONSTANT DESTRUCTION would be repetitive. Not the fight scenes that apparently were 'saved' for you by excellent animation.
It's a plotdriven story, I do agree that many characters appear one dimensional due to the setting, but they're not a major factor in being disappointed. Btw, Jean is also a well written character and I'm not even going to get into Erwin.
Also, characters in FT don't die because they're saved due to powerups, something that in a serious story like AoT, doesn't exist. And they're even more so cliche and undeveloped. Natsu doesn't have a character and Lucy, the most boring one, is the only one who has changed since the beginning.
And I mostly started this by disagreeing with your review on SnK. Not with rori's NHK thing.
It's truly not your cup of tea if you consider a ridiculously cliched series that uses nakama powerups on every other arc with ecchi and bad animation as well as comedy that's wayy too stupid which is why its funny to make itself look good, better than a well-directed, presented, written and on-point series that never wastes an episode. I compared FT with Shingeki because your ratings tell me to do so. You've rated higher.

I found you because I saw the first episode of the Liar Game drama series and after that I went to the manga page on MAL and saw your profile.
Good review ^o^
