What's up? My name is Tyler and I'm a fan of both manga and anime. One of the things that you'll realize when skimming through my anime list (or manga list) is that I hardly ever rate an anime/manga below a 6. The reason for this is quite simple: I'm not a person who is overly critical and my rating system is a reflection of that. Here is how I would break it down (manga would be basically the same but instead of re-watching, it would be re-reading... you get the idea):
1-5: These are the shows that I didn't find enjoyable (which is rare) but I usually just exclude them from my list.
*These shows won't show up on my "Dropped" list either.
6: Shows that were average and were finished once due to the amount of time invested.
7: Shows that were okay and were good for only a one-time watch.
8: Shows that were good but I don't plan on watching it more than once or twice.
9: Shows that were great and I plan on re-watching whenever I have the time.
10: Shows that were amazing and I plan on getting the Blu-Rays for.
So yeah, that's pretty much how I go about rating this stuff because like I said, I'm not one to overly criticize something. If I enjoy it, I enjoy it. Plain and simple.
P.S. You should know that I also lean more towards rom-coms and sports anime because those are my guilty pleasures.

I mean, pretty much all sports anime protagonists are diamonds in the rough, and besides, apart from that vague similarity they're polar opposites.
