This is the most beautiful piece of media I've ever seen so far and honestly I don't think anything will top the amount of emotions I feel towards this art of an anime. Despite me going into this anime thinking it was simple brain dead fighting anime like Baki or Kengen Ashura this anime has such a beauty and covers a slice of life side of each boxer giving even the smallest characters a depth of character which some anime's MC's don't have.
As the story progresses you start to get hooked onto each character whether it be the wholesome Ippo or the tyrant Takamura and

you can't look away on how good the chemistry between each character has towards each other. I've watched some of the more popular anime like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or Code Geass but this will forever stick to my heart, like I have a hard time remember names in anime but I can name every character from this show with ease even the minor characters.
As of typing this out I just finished watching Hajime No Ippo Rising and in tears of how touching it was to the core, In fact I've never wrote a review for the hundreds of animes I've watched until now and I'm glad I could watch the journey we called Hajime No Ippo. I hope whoever reads this gives this anime a try because damn is it something everyone should watch.
