Having recieved the following "Club messaging has been disabled for now. This will likely return in the future." every time I try to message all club members. And after spending about an hour trying to find out if they even have an ETA on the return, I decided I have to do this the old fashioned way.

Time to nominate your favorite anime!

Rules are simple, nominate a single anime or second one that someone else has nominated.

You may nominate something you have nominated before, but not a previous winner.

Any finished anime series, movie, or finished OAV is eligible. Any anime series currently airing is not.

Please include a url link to the anime that you are nominating as occasionally the name is repeated, but the series are completely different (i.e. Macross).

O.K. Just googled "watch Ai no Kusabi online" and came put with:

Well, I watched all of them free on line. I just google "watch (anime title) online" I usually get a few sites that offer it.

I rate it very, very high. It may be Yaoi but the story is solid and the art and animation beautiful. . . . and anyone who doesn't cry is made of ice.

Also see Ai no Kusabi, Ai no Kusabi (2010), and The Legend of the Blue Wolves. Bronze is pretty good too.

Don't read much manga and what I do, I generally read on line. Fuyu no Semi is a beautiful anime. Try it here.

Also, there is a service you can subscribe to that rents manga through the mail. Google MangaTakeout and you'll find it right away. Cheaper than buying them.

My condolences on the loss of your husband.

On another note, I noticed a couple yaoi titles on your list. Take a look at Fuyu no Semi. I think you will find it a cut above most of the genre. Heck, it is a cut above in general.

Generally speaking, I don't care about age but when Archdeacon brought my attention to the club and I joined it immediately. I was browsing through some of the members, looking at the kinds of anime they liked and at ages, noticed ours and thought I'd say hello.

I set out to never be "normal" and have, for the most part, succeeded. ;-) I know what you mean about being judicious about who you discuss some things with. Most of the time it just isn't worth the explanation.
