Ah, I see, so if I don't want to go full einstein, nge will still be enjoyable to watch xD. I asked this cuz I saw a tiktok video making bible as an antidepressant after watching nge, so I'm like, is this anime really that "deep"? tbh I'm not a big fan of symbolism stuff, and iirc i only watched two anime that has somewhat this avant-garde stuff like FLCL and Perfect Blue.. since both of these are kinda short, it was easy to find explanation on what i don't understand, but nge is like 20+ episodes so ig i don't want to read stuff about it per episode to really understand the context hahaha.. btw thanks for your explanation

Yeah I can agree to that. It's alright I guess. I mean it's your preference so... But I can't digest the plot hole part lol. I mean AOT has the least major plot holes of all anime I've watched till now (excluding the finished manga for now)

Yeah people tend to dislike characters they see as whiny. They prefer strong characters even if they’re not as realistic. I see you like Dragonball too. Have you seen the movie Dragonball Evolution lol?

I agree with what you’re saying about tsundere characters. Most of them are very stereotypical with not much depth. They should show more of a reason for why they’re like that instead of just using them to appeal to people who like that type of character. I used to really hate seeing them in anime because of that lol. I used to like Asuka a lot but I think I’m starting to lean more towards Shinji and Misato. I think Shinji is an underrated character. I think he’s the most realistic out of all of them.
