Glad you enjoyed it. Kallen is also one of my fav characters. My 2nd fav after Lelouch. That guy is a fucking boss in my eyes. Do you believe he's dead?
Don't know what to watch next? Well, what type of anime are you in a mood for now? After all the dark seriousness of Geass, I assume you want a relaxing, funny anime like Azumanga Daioh? Or how about a romantic one like Ah My Goddess?
About the Gintama manga, I forgot to mention one thing: It may not suck you in easily, but give it time and it will grow on to you. Some characters may not give a first impression, but you'll end up liking them afterwards. That's how it happened to me, so just keep reading. It takes some getting used to since it's not your average shounen comedy series.
Thanks. I can't believe it's been 5 years since I joined. O.O
Ah, I gotta check out Good Ending.
If you want a complete experience, go for the manga. The anime assumes you've read it all after season 1 of the anime. The OVA sequel doesn't even explain some important moments like the formation of a friendship between 2 important characters that takes it further in Darkness (a more mature sequel). The first 3 anime installations don't cover all chapters. I guarantee you'll feel lost if you don't read it. Luckily, you can read it before or after watching season 1 b/c it doesn't follow the manga at all except for 2 chapters. But after that, Xebec thinks you've read it all. Kind of alienating and douche-like, in my opinion.
Feel free to discuss with me the ending of Code Geass R2. More surprises there.
Happy birthday Googolplex! I hope you're enjoying Code Geass. That's one of my top favorites. Lelouch is fucking awesome and C.C. and Kallen are hot.
I recommend you to read these top fav manga of mine: Rosario+Vampire (much better than the anime), Gintama, and To Love-Ru. If awesome characters are your thing, look no further than these 3. Enjoy!
Yeah I wanted L to be the one to take down Light. He's my fav character followed by Ryuk.
Yeah DxD was MUCH better than I thought. Before watching season 1, I expected it to be just another funny supernatural ecchi I tend to enjoy, but holy crap did it fool me! No one told me it had violence and feels! Right after the second episode, Rias and Issei became my insant fav characters. That doesn't happen often in a lot of anime I watch where I get favorites in the second episode. Last time it was Sora No Otoshimono season 1. I expect nothing less from DxD season 2. I think "New" sounds kind of dumb but I get the light humor within the logo Lol. The series kind of reminds me of Yu Yu Hakusho with all the demon battle stuff and WTF surprises. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Thank you. Yeah I know I it WILL take years for me to watch all the anime, old and new. Glad to be your 2nd MAL friend. Are you enjoying Death Note? :)
