I'm not here to make 'friends' or be social. That's what life outside the internet is for. I may post things here and there, but that's just me commenting and then walking away from the topic just as quickly. That's also why the comments feature on my page is disabled. If you have any problems with me, I can tell you that there's somewhere you can stick it, it's about arm height and resides on the backside of your body between two flabby lumps.

I'm a game developer and programmer who loves watching anime.
(Insert Japanese here when input doesn't convert UTF-8 input to ASCII extended character set. (Really guys? What an amateur mistake. Do you need a better programmer? I'm right here.))
If you don't know Japanese, don't attempt to use Google translator. It's pretty much what I wrote at the top and I wrote that by hand because I understand enough Japanese to be able to write and read quite a lot. As well as to speak and communicate with others. But not quite at the normal speaking speed...or even sounding natural at all. To answer your immediate, likely thought. Yes, I did take Japanese classes...on top of that, I scored at the top of my classes. I'm not just pulling it out of my ass or from anime like a lot of people are.

My new ratings system works something like this, the parenthesis are there because the word choice used by MAL was unsatisfactory to me being able to transcribe my thoughts into a number.
10 = Masterpiece
9 = Great (Overjoyed)
8 = Very Good (Fairly Overjoyed)
7 = Good (Decent)
6 = Fine (Alright)
5 = Average (Mediocre)
4 = Bad
3 = Very Bad
2 = Horrible
1 = Appalling

I actively avoid shows that don't look like something I'd enjoy. That's why most of my anime list ratings are 5 or above. That's because I see something that looks stupid or generic and I avoid it like the plague. For the most part this has worked out but a few shows have slipped past my radar like SAO.
