Sorry for the late reply! I only just saw your message when I scrolled down to see my comments ): I didn't get a notification for some reason ._.
Wow, it really has been a long time since we last talked. Time sure does fly by~
I haven't seen Angel Beats yet, so I can't really compare it to Charlotte, but I do think it's one of the best this season. Gakkou Gurashi really surprised me from episode 1. I went in to it without any expectations, but the last 3 minutes of episode 1 threw me off completely, and now I am really enjoying it. I am having fun watching Himouto Umaru-chan too! I consider it my healing anime along with Non Non Biyori. Whenever I watch an episode, it always cheers me up :)
I think I'll read the manga for Gakkou Gurashi when the Anime has finished airing. I am extremely curious as to what will happen in the future. Judging from the latest episode, it seems that Kurumi will die? I'm pretty sad about that... I do like Kurumi quite a lot. No more Shovel-chan T_T
I love Himouto Umaru-chan, but in my opinion I wouldn't consider it to be a contender for Anime of the year haha. It's funny and cute... but that's all there is to it.
I am really looking forward to One Punch Man which is airing in October. It's about a hero that defeats his enemies in one punch, lol! sounds kinda lame, right? But that's not all there is to it. Here is a trailer if you haven't seen it already https://www.facebook.com/OnePunchMan.GB/videos/342677065902958/
What Anime are you looking forward to most next season?
Indeed the scene with Sayu and Kaname at the train tracks drove me up the wall. But even more so the scene with Miuna crying alone after having Hikari say aloud "I love Manaka". Honestly Nagi as whole just kept killing my emotions in so many ways. That's why I love it so much. Chitoges adorable and funny at times but that's about it. There's definitely other characters I would put over her. It's just something about her design and how she acts is why I have her high on my list. I haven't even seen Akashi play yet and I already know he's a huge badass. I'm waiting for season 3 to end so I can marathon it (sucks to wait X_X). But I can't wait to see Akashi in action. Lubbock was an awesome character. Sadly his death in the anime was completely butchered. If you go check out his death in the manga it was way better and was a lot more emotional. I actually kind of teared up a bit. My favorite Akame female would have to be Chelsea and Mine. Chelsea just had such a unique design and then the whole way she died made me feel so bad for her. Also Mine is just adorable. I didn't like her at first, but she grew on me.
Regarding Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo I watched about 7 or 8 episodes but kind of dropped it. I'll tell you my reasons for this. First off I really really dislike the main girl. Characters with little to no emotion really turn me off. Also, from what I heard my girl (Nanami Aoyama) the cute and caring one gets screwed over in the ending. That alone just kind of turned me off. The episodes I did see I enjoyed, but the main girl just really annoyed me.
Judging from what I think you'd like. I suggest to you two anime.
True Tears (my 2nd favorite romance of all-time)
Welcome to the NHK (This ones really really good)
I see that you've started watching the monogatari series. Just letting you know that it is best to watch that anime in release order, otherwise it will be a bit confusing. You should watch it in this order :D
Bakemonogatari > Nisemonogatari > Nisemonogatari kuro > Monogatari series second season > Tsukimonogatari > Hanamonogatari
