Hello welcome to my profile I am a college student majoring in IT at a local University who somehow finds the time to watch a lot of anime but not very consistently. I tend to marathon it. I'll usually catch up on multiple episodes of whatever I'm watching between classes and on the weekends. I also dabble in Visual novels... by dabble I mean I have only played 5 (they are so time consuming). Lately I've been more drawn to manga/novels then anime. Might just be time for a change of pace.
Character developments/interactions are the most important part entertainment to me whether it be anime, western television, or blockbuster movies so I'm willing to put up with low production values as long as the writing is competent, but not the other way around (looking at you SAO and Guilty Crown). That being said its always nice when something like the Monogatari series comes around as it has both great writing and an alluring art style.
My scoring system is weighted significantly toward plot and characters. The notes I make in MyList are mostly to remind myself of the initial thoughts I had after I finished a series, otherwise I'd probably forget xD. People tell me there helpful though so I will continue to update them as shows progress.
My "taste" is always changing so what I enjoy is a bit of a mixed bag.
If you want to converse about anime, manga, or my shit taste feel free to leave a message/comment. I'll almost always get back to you.

but the comedy just isn't there. Comedic timing is off, gags are repetitive and the overall volume of jokes is actually quite low, but when they do happen they just don't produce laughs.
*nodding consistently* Indeed you have been putting a lot of thought on the animes you drop, as should be. lol
Reading the elements you have for dropping animes made me realize how my way of dropping is imprudent HAHA. geeburs
1/3, that's heavy, statistically speaking as well. haha. though I suppose I must concur that the series should get one's attention. However, some develop slow, in a way but I guess it all goes down on how you're attached with the series regardless of how they start if off and progess. haha.
Why are you having thoughts of dropping AssClass? I'm not particulary sure of the latter which I won't be asking why. As for the AS though, May I hear why? I'm holding on to it due to the main character. I am an educator myself and I quite fancy the dedication he gives to his class. You could say, it's the only thread that makes me want to continue until the end. XD
I'd agree by ten folds with Strike the Blood, Black Bullet, and IS s2. Trying to finish the series mentioned was hard and I end up dropping them. Haha!
