*weeps* b-but... even though I'm currently more into manhwa than anime, we still generally like the same genres. How is it possible for it to be Medium-Low? I'd accept Medium, but not Medium-Low :( This is downright depressing!!
That makes sense, but I feel like reviews are generally for people who haven't seen the show and want somebody's opinion who has seen the show to get a feel for what it's like, and spoilers would turn most people off from reading the review.
Didn't really expect someone to write a thorough review on Hyouka. I agree with all of your points, but I just found most of the mysteries too.. mundane. Granted it's a slice of life and I'm not supposed to be expecting some huge thriller plot, but Hyouka was just interesting enough to keep me watching (the horror film arc really made me consider writing it off as a 9).
Oh, and everything in it looked really pretty. That helps.
The only thing that kind of irked me was Ibara, who I didn't really understand as a character. She wasn't as fleshed out as the other supporting character (Satoshi), and her characterization seemed to be all over the place. I think the only time where they really tried to build on her (aside from the whole unrequited love, which was also kind of meh) was when she was debating over the manga she liked, and even that came across as kind of awkward.

Have you been studying Japanese too and what do you think of Alter Code f?

Cheers, and thanks again for a great review.
