I had Fushigi Yuugi in my PTW though I don't remember how it got in. Looking it over nothing rings a bell. I prefer shoujo over shounen so that's not an issue.

If it's one of your favs I'll have to flag it with a high priority. 54 episodes is kinda scary though -- that's like 4 seasons worth of stuff = entire Maria-sama or Zero no Tsukaima or Shakugan no Shana or half of Legend of Galactic Heroes o.0 Not a problem if I really get into it of course.

Getting near the end of Lucky Star so I'll be looking around for something to watch (besides Kiniro Mosaic which I already started before Lucky Star). I was leaning towards something older/classic as the next anime so maybe that one will fit (despite its length).

The writing for Citrus was its downfall (for me). Pretty cliche and these mini love triangle girls would show up out of nowhere in a lame attempt to complicate things. Art was really good but without decent writing it didn't matter. It was still ok but nothing more than a 6 for me. Takagi-san was much more polished even though it was episodic.

Oniisama e is 39 episodes so it's intimidating but actually that anime is so addictive that I couldn't stop watching it once I started and I finished it faster than most 12 episode anime. I re-watched it about a year later and I ended up binge-ing it again.

Oh last night I watched a yuri OVA (just one episode but it was 58 mins long). Very cute, very pure yuri romance the kind I really like (gave it an 8 almost a 9 and probably would be an easy 9 if there were more scenes/content). Very realistic even more than Aoi Hana was.

Now I have to read the manga for it :) Also waiting for Yagate Kimi ni Naru to finish airing. It's been a good year or so for yuri anime :)

Mmmm, since last conversation I've finished Fruits Basket (7), Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (9), Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (6), Toaru Majutsu no Index (6), Citrus (6). Currently watching Lucky Star (7 so far).

Citrus was meh (I thought the manga was meh, too so no surprise). Really loved Takagi-san (got into my top 10 characters) though I noticed it wasn't that great for you. I hadn't given out a 9 since Oniisama e which was two years ago. I see you started Oniisama but put it on hold ;)

Fruits Basket was fairly good, if silly in places but great conclusion. Tooru was awesome mc. Really liked the OP and ED to it as well -- probably listened to both for every episode.

Btw, finished MariaHolic. Really nice art (as expected of Shaft) but very little to it I thought. The nosebleed gag was getting old and although the characters were ok, none of them resonated with me. In fact, best character for me was the dorm supervisor and her dog. The dog was funnier than most of the mc's (ouch). Ended up with a 5 score (nuetral/boring) though parts of the show deserve a 6 so either score would've worked (call it 5.4). Sometimes I'll give a bonus point for exceptional art but I guess I'm not feeling charitable as I was hoping for a lot more from the show. Maybe after the disappointment wears off I'll bump it to a 6.

Also finished Terra e which was good but it didn't quite reach "impactful" levels for me. Solid 7.
