This message might be a bit shorter cuz I'm preparing to visit my grandma this weekend. It's been a VERY hectic day. I cooked a load of food: Italian-seasoned chicken, blackened tilapia, roasted carrots, spaghetti, green beans, paleo buns, paleo blueberry muffins, paleo chocolate chip cookies... Then my mom cooked cabbage, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and onions. What a feast!

All those anime sound really cool. I'm looking forward to watching them so that I can better follow you on the characters! I'm also rather fond of heroines in anime, such as Oscar from The Rose of Versailles, Youko from The Twelve Kingdoms, Balsa from The Guardian of the Sacred Spirit, Alita from Battle Angel Alita, and many many more.

Aww thank you for your kind words. I'm not so sure that I'm deserving of all that, haha. Just one thing though, I don't actually meet online friends IRL or get in relationships as I've always been a very private person. But we can definitely be good anime buddies! I cherish all my online friends veeery much. :D

Owow, your enthusiasm for the Lejiverse makes me wanna dive right in! I still have so much left to seeee. My first Matsumoto anime was Ozuma when it aired in 2012, and I bought Galaxy Railways S1 on DVD which I still have yet to open... I better finish Harlock before I start a new one though. It has taken me a long time to get through it.

Discovery is by far my favorite album from Daft Punk. Thanks to the music video, those tunes play in my head whenever I see the Garmillas lol... Oh yeah, Emeraldas is my giiirl. If only I had her lovely figure, I would totally cosplay as her. Oh well. :P

I'm watching 2202 right now, and it's been great fun. I just got to the part when The 4th movie (episodes 13-14) just got released online the other day, so I'm planning to watch that very soon. Teresa has had very little screen time so far, but you make me even more curious about her. I'm just gonna wait and find out in the anime if you don't mind. :D

Do you build model kits or collect figures? I'm just a beginner and mainly interested in Gunpla, but I'd love to get a model of the Yamato someday.

Sweeet. I've never seen the original, but I love the 2012 remake! People who've seen both often say that the remake maintained the charm of the original (same music, sound effects, etc) while modernizing other aspects of the show very well. The space battles look gorgeous. I love the overall aesthetic and old-school vibes. I highly recommend it if you haven't watched it yet! I'm curious to know what you would think of it since the original is your favorite.

Have you watched any other anime set in the Leijiverse? I'm currently watching the original Captain Harlock anime and reading the new "Dimensional Voyage" manga, which is an alternate retelling. I like both, but I find the manga more captivating due to the beautiful character designs and streamlined story. No matter which version I'm into though, Harlock is just so cool. <3 My fave character in the Lejiverse for sure.
