lol, honestly I don't even remember why I put a 2 at the end of my username, I created this account almost 9 years ago.

That’s fair, I try an read on an iPad for optimal experience. I’ve also been trying to complete most of the completed series on my list and I’ll just catch up once the end is announced or it’s in a closing arc; again I don’t like reading a million series at once and it would ruin a lot of experiences. I’m not into VNs nor do I understand the appeal for them so I’m unable to help with recommendations, sorry. I’ve only played the first bits of DDLC and I think HISTORIA? When someone mentions VN I always think of some cringe dating sim ngl, I’m more into horror and I’d like to see one that implements well into that style of gaming. I am interested in trying World of Horror and Saya no Uta (really fucked up apparently.. (doubt lol)). Actually, now that you mention it I played this Korean one as a child once that genuinely traumatised me 🤣 I’m not sure if it’s a live we toon or VN but it’s called Bongcheon-Dong Ghost.

Hmm maybe some would work on androids? I’m don’t have one so I haven’t researched on it myself. There used to be mal apps that’ll update your list really easily, I used the, more than the site until they stopped receiving updates..

Honestly I struggle to read manga on PC, it just seems so awkward. I could only do it if I had a dual monitor that has been rotated to fit the pages dimensions. I do like the sensation of scrolling on a touch-screen though. I agree with the shut down too, I’ll get heaps of updates that I can binge when it’s back online. I’ve been trying to catch up on series that I’ve fell behind on just so I can start reading something new. I don’t like having a lot to read at a time and it’s hard to keep up with everything.

I’m pretty sure there’s a few extensions that sync up MangaDex entry’s with you MAL list, they update after finishing the last page. Can’t really try that until their website is back but yeah, should help a lot. I don’t use it as I read on my phone and such plus I keep my tabs open so I don’t worry **too** much, I update my list often anyway lol.

Hopefully they still work with v5 Infrastructure of the website, the DDoS attacks are really getting out of hand... keen to get back on MD over the next few weeks. I haven’t bothered to check up on some of the series I’m reading/forgot about them

Oh yeah that’s totally true. I think the English version has a better spine design tbh. A lot of the manga I read are definitely under 20,000 members on MAL. I love finding hidden gems that succeed in storytelling and development.
It’s great to find others who also read such small series too!

Me too it’s a great story, easily top 3 manga atm. Wish I read it years ago when I was planning to buy them physically.
That said I was kinda disappointed from their physical release, the Japanese and French editions have a holographic wrap on them whilst the English is just... “Normal”
A true feelsbad moment considering they’re slightly more expensive ;-;

Now that it’s on hiatus (best timing doe) and Attack on Titan is about to end means I’m gonna become empty and I’ll have to go digging for something similar to both.. I’m open to any recommendations as well
