Thanks for the secret santa manga suggestions. I ordered it but it sat on my table due to working overtime/life getting in the way these past few days.
I saw that Alice got a live action back when it came out but never got around to watching it, it definitely scratches the itch of the edgy series I usually like. Definitely don't have the shelf room though lol it is rather large, I'll buy the rest eventually.
I actually had Punpun and Solanin on my shelf but never got around to reading them, sold them during covid as they were hard to find. Murciélago I remember seeing it at a book sale years ago but never even looked at it, I'll buy the first volume sometime down the line and give it a go.
Hii
I'm so sorry I couldn't get to watch the anime you recommended. I was suuuper busy (;′⌒`). But, I am looking forward to nonetheless. Gotta say Link Click has piqued my interest most out of the two and I've personally been waiting for an opportunity to watch it!!
True regarding financing, but the stronger the member states are the stronger the whole EU would be. Also, it would be in the West's interest to keep Eastern European countries in the EU because Putin is nearby and Russophile political parties are everywhere in the East. I never said that Orban's and his party's stance on LGBT is right or that they're progressive in any way, just that if the majority of Hungarians cared about LGBT they wouldn't have voted for them and elected a progressive party instead. If this is what Hungarians want, why impose this on them? Also you're creating a dangerous precedent by allowing the unelected European Commission mandate democratically elected officials what to do. This ain't democracy anymore.
The transphobic law is indeed discrimination and infringing on human rights. This law we were talking about in the thread, however, just states that sex ed is not taught in the public school system. I don't see how it discriminates and infringes anyone's rights since heterosexual sex ed is not taught either.
The topic was locked before I had a chance to reply (the one with Hungary). I don't think there was a point in discussing this anymore since you don't want to acknowledge that Hungarian society doesn't care about LGBT. Who decides what's to be taught in a school system paid by taxpayers? Ah right, the taxpayers. And the majority of these Hungarian taxpayers elected Orban and his party. LGBT might be a pressing issue in the West, but not in East. You can;t dictate what goes or doesn't;t go in another country.
