I will only rate shows that I have completed, I feel it's unfair to assume how good or bad a show is without seeing everything it has to offer. The rating system I use is pretty simple, and similar to the one that My Anime List recommends.
/10 - It's appalling. This show is either so bad that it made me downright uncomfortable to watch, or it was so offensive or inhumane that I feel I need to spread the word of how awful it is.
/10 - It's terrible and has no redeeming qualities. I only finished watching it so that I could rightfully say that I watched it, and give this rating to it. Likely, it's a very boring show.
/10 - It's mediocre at best. It tried valiantly—and failed miserably. It has some notion of a premise that could border on interesting, but its execution prevented it from being anything better than bad.
/10 - It's decent. It can be enjoyed if you don't mind overlooking some major flaws that keep it below average.
/10 - The baseline. Anything with this rating or above, is something I consider worth your time. Anything below it should be skipped. You won't see many ratings below this point, because if I don't consider a show worth watching, then I'll rarely watch it until the ending.
/10 - It's good. There's problems with it, but it's worth watching and there's certain things about it that I think make it a good show.
/10 - It's very good. This show isn't perfect, but by the end, I found myself considering all the things I liked about it, not any of the flaws that may have been there.
/10 - It's great. Something I consider a must watch. Some shows that I may consider to be worthy of a 9 or a 10 but that get dragged down by a glaring issue might find themselves in this spot.
/10 - It's amazing. I consider it to be some of the best anime, and a must watch for any fan of the show's specific sub-genre.
/10 - It's a masterpiece. The best of the best. I will recommend shows in this category to just about anybody that watches anime and will strongly suspect that they will love it from start to finish.
