I'm kinda done with anime & manga for the time being. Maybe I'll get back into it at some point in the future. Have a good time everyone! :) I'm back! But I've switched to using Anilist instead of MAL. Feel free to add me there :)
Genres I like:
Slice Of Life
Yuri Romance
Ghibli
...

I'm not a huge anime/manga fan, but I do like to watch/read some stuff from time to time.
I mainly like stories that are relaxing and/or cute, but, especially if it has a female protagonist, I occasionally also give some more exciting stuff a go.
Due to lacking time (university) and me wanting to watch/read everything in Japanese, I'm getting through stuff pretty slowly at the moment. Also I tend to rewatch/reread a lot.
Friend requests/DMs/etc. are always welcome.

Other interests:
Bouldering (i.e. rock-climbing, but without a rope)
Programming (In particular simulations and rendering)
Languages (At the moment Japanese (I can read quite well by now, but I'm still bad at everything else, in particular speaking) and Mandarin Chinese (just started). I want to learn many others as well in the future (especially ones with interesting alphabets / writing systems!))
Mathematics (I used to be really into math, especially number theory, but currently it's mostly practical programming-related stuff)
🇯🇵: I read the manga / watched the anime in Japanese
🇨🇳: I read the manga / watched the anime in Chinese (Simplified / Mainland)
🇹🇼: I read the manga / watched the anime in Chinese (Traditional / Taiwan)
Vocabulary: Roughly proportional to how much I had to look things up in the dictionary. Obviously subjective and highly dependent on whether I've read manga with similar topics before
Grammar: Even more subjective. I tend to base this mostly on sentence complexity or whether old or uncommon grammar is used extensively
Furigana: I read most stuff in print, digital versions might differ. 立ち読み is your friend :)
I did some research and both of them look great, I can't wait to read them. The art in 'Beloved' amazed me, it's TRULY STUNNING. Thx so much for the recommendations! =D
Yep, I plan to watch as much as I can in my spare time and read manga and novels too. If you have any recommendations it'd be nice ;]
And you added me cuz we watch/read similar stuff: Shoujo-ai! (you said exactly this lol)
You also sent me a DM thanking me for my "review" of Kimi koi limit, makes me happy that someone was interested in the manga because of what I wrote, I'm really glad :']
Yoo thanks for the fr (you must not even remember tho) :] sorry for the late reply, I quit watching anime for a while for some reasons :(
btw you have some nice favorites! ;]
Yes, I'd love to see that become a reality, please Saburouta-sama, make it happen!^/\^
Hmm, I read a bit of the manga before the anime aired, when the manga was still fairly new, and I was starting to get into Yuri (but back then, all I had was a small notebook, so I had to sneak downstairs at night, grab it, and then go read Yuri in my room, since my parents weren't as accepting of those kind of things as they are now that I'm an adult..) and also managed to read the first few volumes before the name aired, which made all the difference for me,as it made the anime more enjoyable to watch, and ever since Citrus as been one of my favorites, though I can understand some of the drama in it can seem needless or just plain tiring sometimes too~^^'>
Glad you liked Citrus! You'll notice that Citrus+ takes place in a time between the proper end of the series, and after a certain event in the original series, so it's not the same as a proper sequel in that way, but don't let it bother you, we get more Citrus content, which is pretty good at all if you ask me~!^^>
