The story how I started to watch Anime...
Hello, my name is Sako Rokuro and I live in the city of Königsberg. My dream is to become a sword master and adventurer like my grandpa. But I am only helping out at my mom's shop right now, so it was a surprise when on a cool summer morning as the first sun rays tickled my nose, I soon realised that something was different. I knew this day would hold something special. But I didn't have time to think about that, because my best friend Okabe knocked on my door. I knew him since the early school days, we always played after it was over and our families were friends.
"You won't believe what just happened!" he screamed in panic.
"Wha'?" I asked softly, still feeling a bit sleepy.
He sat himself on the edge of my bed and grabbed my shoulder with a rapid motion and started to shake me.
"Haven't you seen them?! All over the city appeared weird holes in the sky and no one knows that they are or what they do!" Okabe was frantically explaining.
"What are you talking about Oka, you watch too much of this fantasy stuff"
"For god sake! Go and see it for your self then!"
I walked to the window, pulled the curtains away and almost fell to my knees in shock.
"Tha- that can't be!" I stuttered.
There actually were holes in the sky and there were many of them.
"What ever they threw or sent into the hole no one knows what happens with the objects that enter them." Oka explained.
"I need to get closer," I stood up and ran outside. I always was fascinated by the incomprehensible to the human brain, I couldn't let the opportunity slip to see something that was so extraordinary which disctracted from this boring and dull world. My friend had troubles keeping up with me and he didn't catch up until I came to stop under such big hole in the sky.
"It is...mind-boggling" I whispered in disbelief.
I stared into the deep dark hollowness of the hole, in my fascination I noticed something.
"Oka you see that? The hole is pulsating!" I said shocked.
"Now that you mention it, yes it is! And it's getting faster, right?" Oka murmured thoughtfully.
"Wait..! Oh shit!"
The holes were pulsating rapidly fast now, and suddenly the sky turned completely black, only the few lights of the street lamps and inside the houses gave brightness to the dark.
"That's it!" Oka screeched, he cowered on his knees "We are all going to die!"
"Wait there is something!" I remarked.
Two enormous purple glowing eyes appeared on the sky, as bright and as big two suns opened above us.
"You failed my children. That was your last and only chance" the booming voice like thousands of explosions echoed over the lands, drowning out the millions of screams of the panicked and terrified masses that gathered under the sky. The great creatures voiced screeched again,
"Now you shall perish and suffer for your sins!" the eyes flashed, turning the sky from black to a blinding white, I only had time to look at my friend as the light burnt his skin to bone and his bone to dust.
"Where am I..? Am I...dead? Is this the land of the dead?"
A honk brought me back to conciousness. The bright light hurt my eyes, keeping me shortly from knowing where I was but I could make out the noise of weird vrooming and people talking and walking by me. As soon as my eyes became focused again I could that I was standing in the middle of a big place. Hundreds of people were surrounding me, big moving pictures were plastered on huge buildings and they were talking in a weird language I couldn't understand.
Someone was tapping on my shoulder, as soon as I turned I was met with a familiar face.
"Hey Sako-chan, I am glad I found you nya~ I knew I would see you, I would never mistake your sparkling eyes"
It was Okabe, but he was...female.
"Okabe...? You are...a girl?!" I screeched and he...she nodded, grinning.
-
Some years passed, I learned that were we are now is a city called Tokio and we are in the kingdom of Japan. Me and the new Okabe started to learn their language and their customs.
After the blast we were reincarnated here.
But something that captured me was what they called "Anime".
And that'S how I turned into a weeb.
THE END.
