Berserk is pretty good for a kid's book! Do u also love golden age?!
You just gave me a hankering for some Johnny Bravo. I remember a really creepy Twilight Zone parody episode where he had to babysit some kind of demonic genius child. Fun stuff.
Why does that sound like you're a controlling boyfriend or something, lol. I'm thrilled that you managed to turn things around. Fuck those tests up. As for me, I'm still putting off fixing my circumstances until it hits a breaking point so I can kill myself. The good news is that I've made some minor progress in this novella I've been writing.
Nigga, Hitler was not from the dirty souf. If he was, the swastika would be formed with drumsticks and there'd be a bowl of grits next to it. You listed the literal bare basics, but it's okay because I'm also watching them. One Punch Man's manga is a lot funnier though. You're not sneaky, I could already tell you're watching Gintama. There's no need to try soliciting me because as you can see from my list, I'm also watching it! Have been for awhile, but I'm slow and haven't touched it in over a month now. I'm also a big Kagura fan, she's a riot.
I hated them too because fuck new things, but they're not that bad.
Maybe you just underestimated your good eating habits. You do sound pretty faded. I think it's more likely that people absentmindedly go about their days without doing everything they can to maximize their lifespan and then one day, they kick the bucket. But you could be right too.
I like maybe four people so it'd be impressive if you somehow managed to find a fifth. You ever get around to actually reading Punpun? And how's school treating you?
I'm southern, not racist. Coon's age is a time tested phrase that has no racist connotations (unless you want it to be racist). There hasn't been any good anime in recent memory, or at least none that you would like. Non Non Biyori and Himouto are pretty dope.
Some people become extremely... fatigued, I suppose. Well you're not even 30 so your blood pressure still has time to explode. I admire the optimism though. If you believe you'll live forever, you might come pretty close. And you're right. We'll both be okay, dude.
Take your time. I'm hesitant to believe he has that much dialogue, but I'd have to see for myself.
That's fair, it's a very exciting show, but that's about all I can praise it for. Now that you mention the Ping Pong soundtrack, I should really get around to copping it. Haven't heard anything from that show in a coon's age.
It should sound tempting, because it's awesome. B) I've not read beyond the election, my interest in a lot of anime and manga has dwindled to an all time low and I don't want to catch up on HxH just yet. What will I have left when that time comes? Nothing.
You thought the complaint was weak? Hell, I felt like the only one who seemed to dislike the show as it was airing. One ridiculous twist after the other. It was straying further and further away from what made me like it in the first place. Does that make it inherently bad? Not at all, but it just made me appreciate the series a lot less. Hell, the shift in tone may have been for the best because other people seemed to like it. The music's underwhelming honestly, I actually just got the OST a few days ago and it has a handful of good tracks. I admire anyone who can stomach Nisekoi.
I'm saying that his manga doesn't really feel like manga. It's so characteristically different that you'll wish there was more like it. The Oda vs. Togashi thing is an interesting comparison. I think the only thing Oda has him beat in is work ethic. Some say Oda is the hardest working man in the business and his schedule proves it. And god, I know what you mean about friends thinking HxH is homo shit. I have one who dismisses any show with young boys as gay trash. His loss I guess.
I enjoy Monogatari, but it's a series of highs and lows. That's the nature of shows with arcs. Did you watch Kill la Trill while it was airing? It was a wild ride. Personally, I thought it was pretty good at first because it didn't take itself too seriously. It was relatively episodic with a lot of silly, fun fights. Then it all went to shit when Nui showed up and the writers started tossing darts to decide what happens next. And nah dude, it's called Love Live: School Idol Project. This is a show that I could write entire essays for because people misjudge it a lot. There's a reasonably popular phone game that's a lot like Osu/Guitar Hero that helped it garner a rather obnoxious fanbase. Is it otaku pandering? Maybe, but I think it tells a nice story with a lot of comedy and pleasant music along the way. It's also cute af.
Go ahead and read some Inio Asano if you get the chance, he makes manga for people who wouldn't ordinarily read manga. They're mostly dramatic, psychological stories about growing up. My friend calls them "edgy", but fuck if they aren't full of substance. One Piece honestly shouldn't be lumped together with those others, it's a cut above the rest. Only issue is that it's animated by Toei which means it has varying degrees of quality. It can go from 10/10 in one episode to 2/10 the next. The animation is also garbagio because it's sweatshop level and they obviously don't give a fuck about doing anything right. The manga's great though.
Good man. It was definitely something to take in. There's actually nothing in the last ~2 years that I'd consider worth watching. I don't think they're to your tastes, but Non Non Biyori and Love Live gave me some hope for a better tomorrow.
That's the problem, nothing will ever quite be on that level. You'll live a sad, hopeless lie if you keep thinking other shounen will be worth watching.
Wonderful, I felt the same way. That nonsexual turn-on was so intense that it feels worth buying. Ping Pong is a feel good series that I could see myself rewatching yearly.
