I've read the manga for Kimi no Iru Machi but I'm a bit behind,I watched the anime too but I was very disappointing with the adaptation. It was not good at all and I thought that anime deserved to have two cours at least because they left so many things out .I hope that a better studio picks this manga in the future .
Yes,I did rage a bit because of some of the characters while reading the manga (there's a reason why it's called a town where you rage ) but it's a a very well written manga in my opinion.
Just wanted to ask if you're going to make a review on the last episodes of white album 2 ?
I've seen some people who said that school days is better than KGNE(rumbling hearts) because it had a very original ending.
I appreciate school days for having the guts to be different but I still prefer KGNE.
I thought that KGNE had more sympathetic characters than school days.I didn't hate anyone in KGNE not even the MC.The difference between the characters in KGNE and school days is that all the characters in KGNE were victims of circumstance because of a tragedy that happened ,School days is about a bunch of immature teenagers who constantly make mistakes because of their bad judgment until tragedy strikes them.
I actually couldn't relate to any of the characters in the show not that I'm inexperienced or anything like that. What I meant is that I could relate to their emotions and how they felt but not their actions. They were too psychologically messed up for me to relate to them .I did end up feeling sorry for the two main girls though.
To me this show's moral lesson was not just about the consequences of cheating ,it was more about the dangerous of sexual promiscuity and falling into temptations .
School days was more realistic then other harems I've seen but to me it was more of an experimental piece. Some of the settings in the show were unrealistic like the absence of adults or the fact that every girl in the show was a a whore and every guy was a dick. They were no restrictions what so ever.
I actually found this review and it describes perfectly what I think of this show

I don't use skype at the moment but I will let you know when I get one .
I noticed that you don't have school days on your list and I was gonna recommend it to you even though it's not really one of my favorites but I think it deserves to been seen just because of it's twisted plot.
I read the review for white album and I agree with it ,I also heard that episode 7 is where the drama begins but I didn't watch it yet.
I just wanted to say that I really liked and enjoying reading your thoughts and analysis on golden time and true tears .
Sad endings are so much better than the "good" ones...
